Free printable donut birthday card
This weekend I wandered around Cincinnati and had my first donut from Holtman's. It was fantastic. Today I spotted this very adorable donut balloon project at Studio DIY.
So I was inspired to craft a tasty, donut-themed printable. You could attach this birthday card to a box of donuts or mail a gift card along with it. Or pair it with mini donut sugar cookies using Bakerella's recipe, as a commenter has suggested.

Never heard of Holtman's before, but I think I want to go there next time I come to visit you! ;)

Would look totally cute with these mini donut cookies from Bakerella too! http://www.bakerella.com/decorating-doughnuts/
You need to have 5 Ways Chili in Cincinnati if you haven't already! YUM! Thanks for sharing your house redos with us -- looking great!
If you ever find your way to Louisville, definitely make a stop at Nord's Bakery. We stopped there this past spring when passing through town after seeing them mentioned in Saveur magazine. It's just an old-fashioned family-run bakery with the friendliest people behind the counter & excellent pastries.

I second the Skyline 5 way chili and don't forget about Grater's chocolates and ice cream. Their chocolate chip is awesome; large chunks of chocolate that is semi-soft, not frozen solid! :) And I don't know if the restaurant Rookwood Pottery is still around but I remember that being pretty good too. Same with Lenhardt's Restaurant - good German food down near UC.
Thanks for the tips! I'm already addicted to Graeter's and I've tried Skyline, but haven't sampled the others!
Super cute! I have a friend who this would be perfect for! I just have to wait for her birthday now ;)
I have to ask...how did you make the border on this cute card?
Hello I am also textile designer. I will follow you. bye
You're making me hungry! I love it!
Yay, thank you! :D
The border--I made the card in Illustrator, and the frame uses a pattern brush so the pattern will scale along with the rectangle. I think this border was a free brush I got somewhere, but you can easily make them yourself, too. Google for a tutorial if you need a how-to.
so cute, thanks for sharing x
