Nice online beer label generator
At Beer Labelizer, a personal project from designer Andy Biggs, choose from an array of label options and type in your text. Download a high res jpeg and print. You could replace the labels on store-bought bottles for a customized present. Or send the link to your friend who secretly brews beer in his apartment building's basement storage unit. If you knew someone like that. Not saying I do...

Um, yes, how's that "beer party" coming along? I still haven't received an invitation.
It'll be a while... I was waiting for some labels like this. Now I have to get them designed and printed. Might have to go buy paper first... y'know how it goes.... Got some important sewing I should do first, too.
Mum
I know you do! ;)
I love you,
Mum
well, since I'm too young to drink....
THANK YOU! We just kegged up our Imperial Stout last night, bottling up some Caribou Slobber Brown Ale this weekend, have a wicked hoppy brew bubbling away and a chocolate stout settling for a few weeks for Christmas. THANK YOU this site is just what we needed for our homebrew!
Sandra, well then, keep away from that website! Maybe you can use this one:

It's technically for beer, too, but you can make the labels say anything you want. Stick 'em on some hot chocolate mix or jam jars. I'm old enough for beer, but most of the time I'd rather have hot chocolate anyhow.
Except I do like stouts/porters... Cowgirl, where do you live cuz I'm coming over. :)
this is perfect! my husband just brewed two beers for thanksgiving and labels are just what they needed, thank you for sharing!!
Is it illegal to brew your own beer where you live? I know it's fine where I live. In fact there are a few stores around town that sell all kinds of fancy equipment for home brewing of both beer and wine. ...probably for liquor too, though I think there might be hefty regulations on home brewed liquor where I live.
Yep, it's legal, as long as you don't sell it commercially. This is a good resource and you can search by state.

Ooh that is awesome. Actually I don't brew beer but I do make my own vodka coolers and mix drinks. This would be fantastic for host gifts, even fun labels for glasses. Thank you for the link.
Does this guy have other possible label creations? I plan to bottle honey next year and this would be awesome.
Love this!
Anonymous, I think there are only beer labels. But you could try labeley.com. The graphics are less sophisticated, but you might be able to put together something that would work.
This is perfect! I just tried it and it was so much fun. Saved a few as jpgs and will give them to my husband for Christmas together with the "Beer Craft" book, which has equally nice graphics.
Love it, thanks for sharing!
You know, reading your blog I don't have to worry if I don't catch up with AT or Design Sponge and all the other fancy sites because I know that all the really good stuff will always show up here.
Keep it up!

Super entertaining. This would make kinda cool tags for birthday gifts/other bro-ing about.
Perfect for christmas!
Thanks, what an awesome website!
Can you think of a website where I could print these labels? I searched, but the websites I found have a minimum order requirement of 100 labels and up, and I just to print a few out.
Thank you!
You could try Moo:

They do the smallest quantities I know of.
But you could also probably get your local copy shop to print a few sheets out onto adhesive-backed label paper. If they don't carry the sticker paper, you can buy some at most larger office supply stores and give it to the printer to print on.
Thanks for all the positive feedback about the Beer Labelizer. I've actually been working on a Jam Labelizer over the last month or so and it's finally up and running. Please note it only has two label designs at the moment, but it will grow with time. Hopefully it suits your needs for jam and honey labels.

Andy, that's fantastic! Thanks much. Once it has a few more label design options, I'll be sure to mention it in a post! You're the best.
Excellent find! I just bottled my first home brew, so a site like this has my mind spinning. It's too much fun to play with.
