Printable paper dolls
If you know some little girlies who might enjoy paper dolls, here are links to download and print a couple sets. This is a more kid-centric post than usual, but I bet it will stir up happy memories for a lot of us.
Meet Clementina. She even comes with bee and raccoon outfits, because you never know when dressing up like a bee might be a good idea. (The charming site Kireei.com is in Spanish; I've linked to it through Google Translate. When the page loads, click "Cuts" to see the dolls.)
Update: For those having trouble downloading, go to the untranslated site, click "Recortables", then "English," and finally "Descargar".
The May 1951 issue of McCall's magazine introduced Betsy McCall paper dolls. Download ten years of Betsy and her wardrobe right here.

This really did bring back some fond memories. As my maiden name is McCall, I grew up loving Betsy and claimed her as my own.
Very very nice. Thanks. I still like dolls of all kinds and I'm a grandmother. :) Lynn
i loved paper dolls when i was little girl! great memories :)
Thanks! I am always looking for cute little things to send to my sponsored child in Nicaragua - I'm sure she will love Clementina
Remind me about these when Courtney gets a little older, okay? ;)
I may just need to print a bunch off for several little girls I know - perhaps even set a few aside for when my daughter decides paper isn't tasty anymore.
These are cute! Thanks for sharing.
You can buy paper dolls from New Hope Publications of Catholic saints! Pretty cool. www.newhop-ky.org
beautiful link -- Clemintina is lovely. I cannot get her to download, but I will continue to try!
I would love to download clementina, but I can't get it to work either. But so cute!
For those having trouble, I was able to download it from the actual site but not from the translated version - go to http://www.kireei.com/goodies and click on "recortables", then click on "English" and then "descargar".
Thanks, Daisy. I've updated the post!
aww! how adorable. Love it! thanks for posting!
These are so cute! How about printing them on magnetic sheets - you could play with them on the fridge and they might last a little longer...
I love paperdolls! thank you..
@Jessica I also have a sponsored child in Nicaragua! As soon as I saw this post and that the dolls had Spanish directions, I thought of my "daughter". She'll love them!
I love it, I love paper dolls ... thank you
I was reading the little blurbs that went along with the Betsy McCall paperdoll and thought, "Gee, in July, 1951 Betsy knocks off her puppy." See if you can see how.
These are really cute. Thank you for the link.
Oh! Clementina and her outfits are absolutely the cutest thing on earth :)
Oh, this is so cool. Thanks for the link!
I rarely remember younger school days (I hated school) but I distinctly remember this day when we all got a Betsy McCall paper doll at school. How I wish I still had her and you've fulfilled that wish! Thanks so, so much for sharing!!
I love paper dolls. Thanks for posting the links!
I love these! heading over now to download them...
CitricSugar, I have some magnetic sheets (thanks, Jess) just sitting around waiting for the perfect project. I think you've found it! Thanks for the idea!
I'm positively swooning over the Betsy McCall dolls. Always look forward to your posts in my inbox!
talk about memory lane. I was born in 69 but my mom had the 60's edition of the dolls that we kept at my grandparent's house for me to play with. I can't wait to print these and introduce them to future generations
Hi Jessica! I happen to love design sites and just happened to stumble across yours- and I absolutesly love it! Great ideas and love the printables! These paper dolls are great!

What fun! My sister and I played with these when we were growing up. Our grandmother cut them out of her magazines. So fun to have a chance to play with them with my grandchildren!
I remember the Betsy McCall paper dolls with great fondness (okay, not 1951, but still). I think my older sister had cut these out, or maybe I found them in some magazines my mom had stashed in the basement when I was little. But, I loved them.
wonderful, I guess I have to buy a printer
Thanks! I will be printing for my niece :)
I really loved those dolls when I was a child... what a pity I'm not anymore !

Thanks for posting this. I have great memories of paper dolls from Dover books. I had so much fun.
Clementina is sure cute but I grew up on Betsy McCall!!
Thanks!
Those are the cutest! I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to be a racoon some of the time?! Thanks :)
I loved Betsy McCall! & I remember cutting out pictures from the Sears Catalog so that I could give Betsy an extended family.
And I remember my Uncle Robert's girlfriend giving me her attic load of paper dolls, jeez, far too long ago.
Playing with paper dolls fueled my passion for clothing design.
Thank you for the pleasant stroll down memory lane.
thanks for sharing these CUTE printable dolls! My daughter will love them!
I also wanted to let you know that I featured these on my blog today. I put two links to your website, your name and gave the credit to you of course!

Thanks for the GREAT ideas!
Super fun! I did this with a dog at Halloween. I had to make them large and easy for the little ones to cut.

We printed them on magnetic paper then played with them on the fridge and a cookie sheet. I'll have to print these for my daughter. She'll love some new ones.
Beautiful printable paper dolls. Loved it. Keep blogging and thanks for sharing.
