Free notecard download

Help yourself to this lovely orange printable notecard, compliments of Pauline Grayson. Pauline is a 6'1" graphic designer who grew up on a dairy farm. I'm a 5'11" graphic designer who grew up on a dairy farm. I think this means we are twins separated at birth. Except I drank more coffee, which stunted my growth.

Hello Jessica,
I just wanted to let you know that I've been following your blog for a while (on google reader) and I absolutely love it! I make use of so many of the links to the downloads and only came to realise it today. I was showing my 9 year old daughter something on the blog and she recognised so many of the things, the bookmarks, the wallpapers, etc.!!! Thanks a lot for all of it. Your graphic design projects are great too!

Wow, thanks so much for the feedback! And thanks for following!

Thanks for posting my work. That's funny that we both grew up on a dairy farm. Mine was in Idaho, where was yours?

And for the record, I don't drink coffee.

Jessica Jones said...

Well, that explains the height difference. My farm is in Minnesota. Practically next door to Idaho. Okay, not really.

It's interesting that you both went into graphic design and not something related to agriculture, animal husbandry or cheese.

Or ice cream. :-)

Not that I think either of you wouldn't have done well, I'm just really glad that you didn't!

What a great download! Thank you for sharing! My mom used to say that soda would stunt out growth. I don't think we got to drink it until we were in high school. :-P

This blog never fails to make me happy. A pretty piece of art, a gorgeous color, or a little bit of inspiration, make the day more pleasurable - am I right ladies?

What about me?? I didn't grow up on a dairy farm, but my parents were farmers in the 70s. Does that count? I'm feeling so left out.

PS - Love the notecard

PPS - Love that someone used the word "husbandry" in their comment

As my mom always said, it must have been the milk and manure that me so tall? What about you Jess?

Jessica Jones said...

Well, I didn't eat much manure, so that can't be it.

Muffin said...

I drank the milk and stood in the manure. I swear I never ate manure, unless you count the time I slipped and fell in the pig pen...

I think you must have standing in the manure much. Great blog and I love your work, thanks for sharing
