Printable campaign posters

Departing from the topic of fabric now. Because the election is right around the corner! Print your own posters for the candidates. Choose from about a billion amazing Obama posters here. I searched and searched to find McCain posters, but this is the only one I came up with. If you'd like to see both gentlemen together, take a look at these movie poster spoofs. Or if you'd like to download a cool poster urging everyone you know to vote, go here and click a thumbnail, then click the larger image that appears.

Thanks,Jess: all the art around the election is pretty exciting...and it's amazing how much of it Obama inspires. He even uses the word "art" in his speeches sometimes! It would be wonderful to have a president who values the power and potential of art to improve our lives.

Elena, I hope Obama doesn't take your art and give it to someone who doesn't have any art of their own. And, Amber, I hope he doesn't take your car and give it to someone who doesn't have one.

That's right, kari, 'cause the Pres has the power to do that. And also, sharing with the less fortunate is bad. Greed and hoarding for the win!

thanks so much for the links! it's great to see all of them compiled in one place.

Yes,aelf'en, the President has the power along with the people and Congress who support him to do that. And trust me, I DO share with the less fortunate, but it is my choice. So far this year, my husband and I have given in excess of $13,000 to charities and my husband makes less than $50,000 a year. (My husband is retired Navy - 23 years - but must work 2 other jobs in additon to his pension.)That's over 4 times what official records show that Joe Biden gave last year. I'm thinking he makes a little more than $50K/year. This is a sweet blog and I don't want to get politically ugly here, but facts are facts and Sen. Obama has made no secret of his plans. I do apologize for the sarcasm in my first comment. Truly. Please forgive me if I offended you or anyone else.

Awright, Jess, where the Sam Heck are the Abraham Lincoln posters? After all, he was the last truly great President this country's ever had, and I'll lick anyone who says a-different, by Ned!

Metaphorically, that is, not literally; that'd be pretty disgusting. I'm not a *cat*, after all.

My apologies if I offended any James Buchanan fans out there. No offense was intended to a President who really does go down in history.

Well, they both have strengths and weaknesses. I have to respect anyone who wants to run for office. I sure wouldn't want that gig.
