Alex and I went for a walk the other night, and I found something cool: this Chevy pickup. I bet it doesn't smell like cows and silage like the pickups I grew up with. I like it.
Oh man, the silage remark just slammed me back into the 80s when I lived in the country (across the "street" from a silage pit...not great). Love the photo (goes perfectly with orange)!
Hoo boy, do I have some pickup photos for YOU, Jess! *chuckles*
See, there's this classic car show about half a mile from where I live every Friday during the summer, and about four hundred cars show up, so I've been taking the digital camera the past couple of weeks...
It's so beautiful! The other day I saw a tiny Mercedes, I think it was, with a beige soft top. It was a pale Chartreuse. Absolutely gorgeous. It looked like a toy.
Very cool truck!! Looks just like the one in my garage that we have been restoring for the last several years. Paint job now done and its all shiny and very cool looking. Only problem is I can't drive it. It has a standard transmission on the steering column and DH hasn't had the time to teach my how to shift it. But come later this fall, when things settle down here abit I'll be taking it for Sunday drives.
Oh my Dad had a blue pickup just like this one...I still remember my brother asleep from the ride home on the white vinyl bench seat. Thanks for bring that all back to me.

I love vintage cars, especially trucks. How cool!
Cool truck and great color!
I don't think I want to know what 'silage' is though :p
My husband (and dad, who has a 1934 Lincoln convertible) would LOVE that truck! I love the color. Of course that is a very girly thing to say! ;)

I don't know anything about cars. I just like the shape and the color. Who cares what's under the hood? Not me.

Some of them are even orange.
