Sweet (and free) embroidery patterns

These little embroidery projects are adorable. Picture it: you're sitting on your porch stitching away, saying hey to the neighbors who wander by. No, wait. It's hot outside. You're in an air-conditioned coffee shop stitching away, chatting with a friend. And everyone who sees you is charmed by your old-fashioned handiwork.

Yeah! First person to leave a comment! My mom is doing the same, not in the porch or in the coffee shop, just in front of a fan in the living room.

Those are so sweet. I love them. My grandma taught me this skill when I was in middle school and I haven't done it since. I wonder if I could still pull it off! Thanks for the post!

Fun! Really like the feather alphabet. Wish I had the patience to still do this. Of course, I do still have a gajillion skeins of floss, so maybe something simple...

Love your blog and all of your projects! I just traced the feather alphabet onto fabric, and wanted to give everyone a heads up that the pattern is missing X. It was easy to squeeze it in though.

Whoa, that's funny! Now that I look more closely at the photo, I see! Thanks for the heads up!
