I remember those from my 70's childhood, but made with leather. Strong enough to hold a few coins.

That looks like an amazing book. I love the little pouch you made too. It would be neat adhered to the inside of a book cover filled with paper clips.

So gorgeous - would be beautiful for holding individual cookies or tiny round photo frames as a wedding favour - if you overlook the time it probably takes to create each one ;-)

These are adorable :) I love origami... I've been wanting to make an origami garland with flowers or the little balloons, and these would look cute on a garland or as ornaments, even though they're meant to be pockets ...
