Ribbon designs in action
Months ago Bella Bark and Meow commissioned some ribbon designs for use on their exclusive line of pet collars and matching leashes. The other day I took a peek at their website to see if they'd been manufactured and turned into finished products, and voilĂ !
My only question is whether or not I can buy this fellow. Look at that face.
When I contacted the company owner for permission to show these images, she agreed and added that if you mention my name, you can get 15% off your order. Sweet! Enter the code JJONES at checkout between now and Nov. 16th to get the deal.

love these! ordering now!
Aww... so pretty!!
But if you buy that dog, you're not bringing it here! 'I' have nothing against him, but my cats would beat 'im up!

I just looked on their website, and all they have for cats is "therapy". Hmmm....
Mum
Just learned they have cat collars, too. Some of those ribbons are super tiny for thin collars.
Sorry, but Josie 'n Wispy'd prob'ly hate the collars as much as they'd hate the dog. Well, maybe not quite that much. ;)

Love these!! Oh he is a cutie....I got my two Shiba Inus from breed rescue as well as an owner classified. There are so many purebred dogs that have been given up for adoption, record amounts. Petfinder.com has a Classified ad section by owner only too, just stay away from petshops aka puppy mills.
Go get one... You know you want to... ;)
Uber cute!
Hmmm...now I need to get a dog! lol
Oh! I have three collars with my name on it! If you want a cute face I will give you my pug Roxie. Though she's very hungry!
the collars are awesome!
Very pretty! All of them! I don't have pets, pity. Maybe I can make a cardboard dog. It would be hideous but it would give me a reason to buy one of these!
buy him?? you mean ADOPT him, i hope. Buying euthanizes millions of dogs in shelters- especially these little dogs- see stories from CA shelters, keyword Chihuahua CA crisis shelters
these little dogs need your help!! see links below

Exactly what I was thinking when I read 'buy' him. Please don't buy a companion animal - adopt. In our household, we call them necklaces - not collars.
Wow, this "buy" vs. "adopt" distinction is a fascinating glimpse into American pet ownership subculture. I mean, pet "adoption" subculture, sorry. I grew up on a farm where dogs and cats are just born or wander on over; we didn't buy OR adopt them. And they don't wear collars. But the cattle have ear tags. Um, I mean earrings. :)
Oh, I just realized something. I thought you guys were saying the process of acquiring a dog should always be referred to as "adoption" rather than "buying" because pets are like little people and we shouldn't use words that imply they are property. Cuz silly me, I thought when you get a dog from a shelter, you have to pay for it. No? So that's the difference. You're saying don't buy a dog from somebody; go give a good home to one that's unwanted? Okay. I get that.
Boy, you're slow. ;)
Mum
Heh heh! What can I say.
At least you're not as slow as your readers who didn't realize you were kidding about buying (or even acquiring by any means) that dog. ;)
Ummm... you WERE kidding, weren't you?!
Mum
Love it, love it, love it
