Fabric sighting: laptop bag tutorial
I was delighted to see a beautiful tutorial using some of my Outside Oslo fabric at Sew Mama Sew today. The lovely Joy Kelley of How Joyful demonstrates how to sew a padded laptop bag. The more I studied the photos, the more I realized just how special this bag is: it can levitate. I want one! Learn how to make it here.

That was so funny - in an unexpected way - I nearly spit out my water :) Thanks for the giggles!!
You bet. :)
Dang! None of the bags I've made can levitate! I'll have to ask her about her technique. Nice bag, even if it 'couldn't' levitate!
Lol! It is cute.. I wonder if it would hold its own on the back of my broomstick..;)
This is a great bag. I'm definitely making one!
I am totally going to make this
hehe, the secret was a plastic string, I was just practicing some special effects :P
Ah ha, the mystery is revealed!
And you thought she wasn't very good at photoshopping, didn't you, Jess? ;)
No, I thought she was REALLY good—I figured it was either fishing line, or else Joy managed to completely erase the hook or hand holding it up and reconstruct the fabric and background perfectly. :)
hehehe...funny! Thanks I've been wanting to make a new laptop bag this one looks awesome!
Either way, I think it should levitate into the Flickr group! :)
I need one of these...
I'm waiting the oportunity to make one of these bags.
