My coaster project at Design*Sponge

I should add: I wondered how colorfast these would be, so I soaked one in a bowl of water for an hour. No bleeding occurred. I've been using them for weeks now, and they still look good.

So perfect! I just made a burlap stocking complete with vintage postcard images printed on muslin (using the freezer paper method) for a teacher gift. These would be great to stuff the stocking with! I'll just have to test it for colorfast issues. :)

They are very cool, what a fantastic idea. You could make a special set for Australia Day or those people that had those personalised stamps done could use them too, or the Valentines Day stamps...last year they were really pretty!

When I saw this project, my jaw dropped. I love it when the two worlds of cute and easy come together and make magic! And it doesn't hurt that I have needed the supplies in house. Now off to my craft room to whip some of these up...

These are really awesome! What kind of printer do you use to get such crisp clear images? I only have ink jet printers.
Mine is an older HP inkjet.
