Simple party decorating
Late Friday night I decorated a little bit for a Saturday morning reception at our place. I found some tissue paper in the closet and made flowers while watching Die Hard on TV. Pink flowers plus Die Hard = a good time. Here's a tutorial for making similar blossoms with napkins.

So pretty -- and my mom would approve; she loves Die Hard!
Thank you, I just love the simplicity of the streamers and blossom. I never took you for a Die Hard sorta gal, but I can see now that it works.
How pretty it looks.
Thanks for the link

Thanks so much for the link! I'm loving these!
As an information junkie and a new blogger your site is so incredibly helpful and perfect. Sorry that I've yet to comment, but I have not only enjoyed your posts, but used this as a reference on many occasions when finally joining the current century of 'techie moms' and (non-moms alike:)).
That said, thank you for generously sharing the many, many bits of information that you acquire.
That looks awesome! I love the pink-on-pink :)
It's amazing how much a simple bouquet of flowers can brighten up any room!
Fresh flowers can certainly add to any room and turn it from ordinary to extra ordinary! And streamers have been around for awhile for a reason for sure. They are so often over looked though and I do still love to use them though. Simply lovely!
We made flowers!
Thank you for always finding new ways to inspires us. Come see our blooms!
Yay! They look awesome.
