Let's all redo some furniture
Poking around in the Furniture Redo Flickr pool made me want to drop everything and run to the nearest Goodwill. Folks have uploaded photos of furniture they've rescued and revived, and it's guaranteed to inspire you to paint something. I especially enjoyed this, this, this, this, and of course, this.

Wow, I love that chair. Off to Goodwill I go....
I thought those cabinets (both sets) were especially pretty! Alas, I don't have time for redoing... I must just 'do'. ;-)

Um....thank you SO much for this link!
I wishh I got paid for surfing all the fun home decor links I have recently found...now I have another to add to the list.
Oh my...thank you? ;-)
I have a set of bare (pine) shelves I got from Pier 1 in the 90s that's just screaming for a make over. Thanks for the link, now I have even more inspiration before I tackle them!
Love the colors!!
thanks so much for including a piece of knack in this lovely line up! xoxo
Who would ever think a bright orange cupbourd could look so fantastic ! ( No offence How about Orange ! )
Eek! I adore this chair!
Also, Becca (All Things Artsy) is a fabulous finder. It seems like every day she's found something new to spiff up :)
Thanks so much for sharing my chair project, I'm flattered. It really is addicting, once you get a spray paint can in hand, it's hard to put down!
So fantastic. Love the teal paint and the fabric choice. None of my chairs have padded seats...I may need to do some thrift shopping ASAP.
Oh my!!! The orange cabinet is to DIE for!!!
That really is inspiring! I've got some stuff around the house that could be made fab!
I love flickr!1 and I love rescued furniture
Me too! Me too! And I even painted mine orange: http://www.mybitofearth.net/2009/07/would-you-like-some-tomatoes-with-those-chairs.html

Ooh, I just redid a FreeCycle rocking chair, with some Etsy fabric. How Grandma chic am I?

They used your fabric.
This is an awesome flickr group. Thanks!
Thanks for the great link! Just in time too since I did a redo on a vintage treasure chest just the other day & have now added it to the group:)
this post made me run to the nearest fabric store and buy something funky to recover 2 of my office chairs, and am so glad I did it! Thank you for always having great ideas on your blog!
I have some pieces in my basement that are just screaming for a makeover. You've inspired me!
WOWWWWW!
I love the makeover!! That is sooo inspiring! Beautiful job!
I actually came across Spacify.com that has a huge variety of home office chairs with some new and stylish.
Great transformation! I love how things can often be changed with a fresh coat of white or black and all of a sudden they look totally different. Ironically, I just spent this weekend doing the same thing. I bought a chair off craigslist and had an existing footstool. Feel free to check it out here: http://theclassywoman.blogspot.com/2009/08/makeover-monday-part-deux-my-new-office.html
Thanks for the redo link, I had never seen these before. I'm sure I'll be surfing for a little while. :)
