I sewed.
I was dying to use my fabric to make a pair of non-traditional, retro-looking stockings for Alex and me. And then, despite repeated pin injuries, because I loved them so much, I kept going and made a few extra to stick in the shop. They're lined with fuzzy fleece and I wish I could wear them on my feet. Of course I'd have to make them about 10 times bigger. Because I have big feet, not because they are mini stockings.

Just for the record, Mum has lots of pin injuries, too, from making bags. They heal fast. :-)

I knew you'd come to see the usefulness of great ribbon! Love the stockings.
I have big feet too :( haha
I already commented on flickr - but I think these are just so great!
Dibs on the ones you can actually wear on your feet! :)
I'll bet you're going to get addicted to those ribbons! Also...I'm thinking that a fleece lines laptop shell would be super duper in your fabric. Why don't you get on that, ok?

Funny story, my son Stephen who is 3 refuses to call them stockings, he calls them "socks" As in "When do we hang socks on our fireplace?" and "Will Santa see the socks when he comes?"
