That was interesting and fun! I scored a 7 (0 being perfect) and my weak areas are blues and greens. I wonder how my husband would score on this since he's red/green color blind...
that was fun! i don't think i could've taken the test on my old laptop because the screen was so grey. i scored perfect. i think getting them all correct stems from my slightly obsessive need to color code my closet!
Well, I scored 24. I'm not proud of that, but I think it's interesting that on the chart where it shows your incorrect answers, I had six blocks of four wrong answers, evenly spaced throughout the color spectrum. That's a little bit odd!
That was fun! I got a 4 - perhaps in my 20's I would have done better! Of course, I think that type of skill improves with experience, right? This a great idea for design students. A great warm up to start the day too.
I scored a 3. That was an intense eye workout. My poor area was in the blue greens. Those are my favorite colors! I wonder if there is any significance to the weaker areas for each individual.
I had a headache after only 2 minutes. I had a hard time in the middle of the spectrum apparently! Bummer. Funny though...when I'd adjust my laptop, all the colors looked different. Do you graphic arts types do actual work on laptops? I'm always curious if I"m over editing a photo, when all it really takes is a shift of my screen! Anyhow, I scored 16 and now I feel dumb. What a nice start to my day. :(
Yay! I got a 4! My weakest point was blues/greens. I would expect blues/purples to be the majority of peoples' weak spot. Scientifically.. purple has the highest frequency on the color spectrum, and it's very common for people to have problems seeing it.
Phew! I got a 0 which is good because my job title is "Color Desinger" and if I hadn't scored well, I would have felt like a fraud! I am going to have my coleagues take it on monday. Fun test!
I got a perfect score- yay me! I will say that squinting at the screen helped me check my work before I submitted it. It helped to see differences in value and if things were out of order.
I got an 18. But in my defense it is almost 4 in the morning!!! Blue to purple was hard, and my eyes were watering. Cool time waster though!!! Thanks for sharing.
first time visitor here. your site is ... wait, let me..yes, i think it is "the bomb diggity" . at least that is what my little bro would say, and i believe that translates roughly to absolutely awesome. i've been told i say awesome too much. im trying to find something equivalent. rad? swell? seriously, your site rocks. i am putting it up on my blog right after i click on just about every link you post.
That test made my eyes water. I think I will be seeing color chips for the next couple of hours now! The good news is that I scored a 4! It makes me feel pretty good. Thank you for sharing this!
Palmy, 0 is a perfect score. The number you get shows how many colors you had out of order.
I got a 7. My first two rows were perfect, but it was downhill from there. I started getting really impatient at how long the quiz was, and dragged things faster and faster and plopped them down. Or maybe it's to be expected that my eyes were good at the orange row! Ha!
And vacuum queen, I don't use a laptop because the screen is too small. I can't fit all the palettes and tools AND the thing I'm designing on there. It would make me crazy. So more an issue of size than color, at least for me.
I got an 11 with my weakness being blues and greens too... but it is a bit tricky on my pc at this time of night, so might try again tomorrow... uuugggh in denial! LOL
OK- now I am kinda freaked out. I was going to comment that there is something wrong with the test because I, of course, have perfect vision and could not get a 143.
So of course I expected everyone else to have the same comments.
But no - y'all have an under 10 average which makes me the hunchback of the color wheel. I am so sad.
No, only the people with good scores comment to say how proud they are. The hundreds of other people who have taken it have kept their mouths shut! And I do think the quality/calibration of your monitor might have something to do with it.
Guess I am not going to be bragging on my 35. Not the bees knees after all!
I know that coming to your site is dangerous because it means an hour, minimum, lost to messing around on the internet. Thanks for passing along all the amazing sites! Cheers, Tracey
This is where the stupid uber-expensive mac monitor finally paid off!!! I can add "PERFECT COLOR VISION" to my resume and use that skill set to win work! That test was HARD!!!
Wippee this was so much fun. But I do like order and colour!! I got 23 but I am VERY tired and it is late and I have bleary eyes...maybe I will try when i am fresh faced too!!
I refuse. Every time you post something like this I lose hours and hours while I play around! I wind up printing templates for paper purses, reading tutorials, taking tests to determine my decorating style...it's totally out of hand! Your blog is too much fun!
A 15 for me, and now my eyes hurt. I felt like I was doing one of those find and seek pictures where you stare at it and pictures pop up. I wonder if I'd had done better with a better monitor...

I scored a 7 also. I've been oil painting for years and would like to think that I've gotten pretty good at getting colors pretty close.
I got a 3! (I think having a really clear monitor helps also!) That's a fun test!
that was fun! i don't think i could've taken the test on my old laptop because the screen was so grey. i scored perfect. i think getting them all correct stems from my slightly obsessive need to color code my closet!
Wow everyone kicked my butt, I got 24 and I thought that was really good! Might have something to do with doing it on a laptop screen perhaps :S
hey I´ve got a 4, it´s good hâ??
:DDD
Oh dear- 25 for me. I'm really bad at mustardy yellows apparently.
That's because I'm a WINTER people - I don't do mustards!
I can live with it
Aww, I thought I was doing well getting 23..rubbish at pinks tho. Can I blame the monitor at work?
Ok, I thought I did good with a 27. NOT! That was pretty cool.
I scored a 7 too :)
I got a four! Kinda exciting!
That was fun! Thanks for sharing.
whoa - that was hard on the eyes... but I got a zero! Yay!
Well, I scored 24. I'm not proud of that, but I think it's interesting that on the chart where it shows your incorrect answers, I had six blocks of four wrong answers, evenly spaced throughout the color spectrum. That's a little bit odd!

I took this test the other day and loved it. i had a hard time in blues and greens. i got a 12. ouch for a designer. oh well.
I took this at work, on a PC, and scored a 19. I took it again at home on a Mac and got a perfect score. What a difference.
Yea! I got a perfect score, but now I can't see straight... rats.
I got a 7 too, but my eyes were going wonky. The light started wavering.
I wonder if this would be easier using paint chips or something.
Fun though
7 ...WOW! :)
15 for me. it was very interesting to do.
I got an 8....not too bad!
I got a 4, but I think my eyes are going to fall out now!
14....(grrr)
I scored a 3. That was an intense eye workout. My poor area was in the blue greens. Those are my favorite colors! I wonder if there is any significance to the weaker areas for each individual.
Oh wow, I suck at this! Scored a 12. Hats off to those who did better. My eyes ache.
0 for me!
FUN! I got a 3.:)
I, too, got a 7. Great fun! I'm going to share this with my whole design staff!
Woo hoo a 4...and a headache. That thing made my eyes want to explode!
that was so exciting - I have "perfect vision" - if only I could see detail like I can pick hues...
I got a 3! Apparently I have trouble with blue-greens. Also, I am using a Mac, so they show colors well.
My eye doctor used to make me do this test at each appointment! It was my favorite part. I scored a 4 on this test. My weakness was the purples.
I got a 16.. I found the blues hard, but I did better in the blues then the pinks apparently. That was hard on the eyes after a bit of staring!
I got a 7! And I think it was out of frustration that I had to do it with 4 different bars because most of my errors were in the last bar.
By the way, I think all of you who scored in the 20's also did a pretty darn good job! That still puts you in the top 5th!
That was fun! I am proud to say I scored a 0!

At the risk of my eyes going wonky or falling out, I decided to take the test. This ol' grandma scored a '0'! WOOHOO!!!
And I don't even have a headache. (You all look a little blotchy, though.)
That was fun...
Mum
Man, that sucks. I got a 42! I'm blaming my crappy work monitor. *hides in corner!*
this hurts. i got a 12 but the first time was a 38... i don't know if i could do better than 12 though..thanks for sharing that was fun. my bff got 4!
Yay! I got a 4! My weakest point was blues/greens. I would expect blues/purples to be the majority of peoples' weak spot. Scientifically.. purple has the highest frequency on the color spectrum, and it's very common for people to have problems seeing it.
I got a 20. Thought I had done better.. What a wide range or results though! From single digits to 100.. I guess I can't complain too much...
Umm... Jess... you didn't tell us how YOU scored! (?)
Thanks so much. I feel fine with my 4. So I can still go into a fabric shop and buy sewing yarn without a swatch.
(yeah to Grandma G!)
But I'll try it again at home without any distractions.
I scored a "0" perfect color vision! helps to study the color wheel!
I am happy to say that I scored a perfect 0 on this one.
Wow, that was hard on the eyes, but fun. I scored a 0. I think I`m rather obsessive, though, because I spent a lot of time fine-tuning. :)
I got a 7 and a major headache! Don't let on to my boss about the 7!!!
Okay don't hate me but I got a 0.But I can't pick out paint colors worth a darn. Go figure.
That was fun. I got a 3! :-) Very proud!
I scored a 50. and I thought I was doing ok. Dang!
I scored a 0, that's zero for those of you keeping track at home. This is way cool. Thanks for your cool blog!
I got a 3...I love this and all the other fun activities you put on your blog!!
How fun! I got a 7.
got an 8...ditto on my eyes about to fall out!
Wow, I scored zero.
Thanks do much for all you share. Love reading your blog
Wow, I got a 12. Honestly, I don't think that's bad, when you look at the range and the bad scores are in the thousands.
Cool little test, thanks. I blame my score on wavering light filtering through my window.
I got an 8. But my eyes started to see it in reverse because I was staring at it! I can still see the lines...
I scored a 37, but I really think it also has to do with how your monitor is calibrated.
I scored a 15.... woohoo! my weakeness was in the mauvie/brownish color hues.

I got a perfect score- yay me! I will say that squinting at the screen helped me check my work before I submitted it. It helped to see differences in value and if things were out of order.
*sighs* I got a rock.
I mean a 4. Yes, a 4. You'd think painting those little metal figures would have meant something by now...
perfect score!!! but I have a fab monitor at home. no doubt that helped, ha ha. (I took it at work too and got a 12 with blue-green weaknesses.)
I scored a 32. Is it good? (please, Im not english, I am italian!)
I got an 18. But in my defense it is almost 4 in the morning!!! Blue to purple was hard, and my eyes were watering. Cool time waster though!!! Thanks for sharing.

Yay! My eyes will be 46 next week, but I got a zero!
23 for me!
That test made my eyes water. I think I will be seeing color chips for the next couple of hours now! The good news is that I scored a 4! It makes me feel pretty good.
Thank you for sharing this!
Man I suck, I got a 15, and now I think I am going to be seeing lines for the rest of the day!
That was fun! Much to my surprise, I scored a zero. I found the pinks to be most difficult and was sure I had one or two out of order.
I did horribly! I'm embarrased to say that my score was almost three digits.
Anyway, I've successfully spent a major portion looking through all of this blog.
I love it. =)
24... oh well!
thanks, that was fun!
I just posted this quiz on my blog, I gave you credit for finding the link and redirected to yours. I hope that is OK with you :)
i got a 4! but now i feel cross eyed...
I got a 4.
...thank you for sharing a perfect downtime activity.
Man, I stink.
Whew...11 here. By the end, I had to take a break!
That's weird, on the second time, i got a perfect score...I cheated, however. Just tilt your screen back to see some of the different hues!
I got an 11 with my weakness being blues and greens too... but it is a bit tricky on my pc at this time of night, so might try again tomorrow... uuugggh in denial! LOL
I didn't even attempt to take this quiz. I'm red/green color blind and I started freaking out as soon as I clicked on the link.
That was fun! I scored 7. I'm pretty happy about that. Blue and green are my weak areas.
Heidi, yeah, I can see how that would be difficult! :)
Woot! I got a 0.. Of course I'm a graphic designer too. lol I'm sending it to my coworker. :) Thanks for this

This is where the stupid uber-expensive mac monitor finally paid off!!! I can add "PERFECT COLOR VISION" to my resume and use that skill set to win work! That test was HARD!!!
That was actually pretty cool. Of course now I want to keep doing it until I get it all right. But that's just me. : )
it only took me about 10 minutes and made my eyes very tired, but I got a four! very pleased with myself1
I got a 0, I think I am in the wrong feild. I knew I should have gone to art school. I work for a health care non-profit...
I got a 0 !! It was fun!
That WAS fun! I scored a 4, the last set was definitely the hardest.
Wippee this was so much fun. But I do like order and colour!! I got 23 but I am VERY tired and it is late and I have bleary eyes...maybe I will try when i am fresh faced too!!
Cool. I scored a 0!! I finally found my calling, sorting hues with my perfect colour vision.
Interestingly it seemed hard at first and then really obvious once I started.
Or perhaps this is all just a statement about how awesome my monitor is.
Scored a 0!! :)
A big fat Zero! That was fun, thanks!
I refuse. Every time you post something like this I lose hours and hours while I play around! I wind up printing templates for paper purses, reading tutorials, taking tests to determine my decorating style...it's totally out of hand! Your blog is too much fun!
Freaking sweet, I got a ZERO! Maybe I should become an artist.
Haha! Great test, but addictive. I notice how you have it filed under 'time-wasters' ;)
Loads of fun though!
I got a 4!! Didn't think I'd do that well...after reading the comments, I feel pretty good about it!
A 15 for me, and now my eyes hurt. I felt like I was doing one of those find and seek pictures where you stare at it and pictures pop up. I wonder if I'd had done better with a better monitor...
That was fun. I scored a 0 also. I wonder if I would do so well with my monitor at home.
I can't believe I scored a 4!!!!
I was shocked - what a fun test!!
e.
I was so curious to do this test after taking a color theory class in college...To my surprise, I got a 0! Wow, I think I was just really lucky. :)
Wowww...i got 0 too...definitely took the wrong course :P
wow.. that was really cool! i love your blog by the way! you are truly talented!
Yay! Loved that test! I got a 4 =)
ok, now my brain hurts and I'm 20 minutes behind! I hoped I would be a color savant but no such luck. 29 for me!
I scored 0! It took me a few minutes to figure that zero was the best score and not the worst.
Apparently I'm better at colors :)
I got an 8 and I am completely defunct in the art/color area of life!
Nice. A 3 isn't too bad. Fun quiz.
I score a 7, and was excided, but them my husband scored 0. Wow...I had to try again and got 0. That's better.
i know no one will believe me but i scored a freaking zero! hmmm... maybe i should consider an art major?? haha that was intense though.
I did the worst out of everyone!
I got a 64.
Let me tell ya, being colored blind really messes with your head...
I got a four. That was fun! Thanks for sharing! I kept blinking towards the end of the test though. Whew.
I got a zero! Super cool.
I got a 0! i feel so... special! hahah. this was fun!
