Starbucks Iced Constantine Coffee recipe
Here's another iced coffee recipe for ya. If you're a coffee drinker and you like chai, you'll probably like this. If you don't like chai, you probably won't.
2/3 cup ground dark roast coffee
4 cinnamon sticks, crushed or broken into small pieces
6 cups water
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom (a tiny bit too much, in my opinion)
2/3 cup honey
ice cubes
half-and-half or milk
Mix together the coffee and cinnamon sticks. Using the coffee-cinnamon mixture and the water, brew coffee by your customary brewing method. Add the cardamom and honey to the hot coffee and stir until the honey dissolves. Cover and chill. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour about 2/3 cup chilled coffee into each glass. Pass the milk. Serves 8.

oh yum. I like my hot coffee to be very strong, milk and no sweetener. But I like my iced coffee to be all the things in your recipe. Must try it right away! Thanks.
YES! Chai is my FAVORITE. I cannot wait to try this! I just need milk...I was going to have a dairy-free week but this recipe is throwing that out the window-and I'm excited about that! I'm also going to link to this in the Daily DIY.
That sounds magically delicious. I need to get to a grocery store!
Sorry to wreck your dairy free week, Rachel. :)
God this sounds delicious. I love coffee. I love chai. I'm in heaven!
This sounds heavenly! Thanks!
now that i've just read this i'm sitting here staring into my cup of cold milky coffee wanting to put another cup on just to try this out. thanks for sharing...sounds wonderful :)
Not a coffee drinker. But absolutely love your plate! Did you paint this one? Looks like those mugs you painted before. And did you use a different kind of paint? I remember you said those mugs were not dishwasher safe, or not safe to drink with.
No, this one's from CB2 a few years ago. After that paint experiment you're talking about, I tried another kind, and that still didn't do what I wanted. I might be out of luck.
I made the coffee this morning and then made myself do all the things I didn't want to do before sitting down to enjoy some. Wasn't that smart? hehe, not if I can't sleep tonight. Thanks for the idea!
Ooh yum! This is like the summertime version of my holiday favourite, Gingerbread lattes! I love the combo of coffee and spice...Thanks for the recipe!
I tried it this morning. Yum.
Thanks!
This was amazing. I had some friends in town visiting and they loved it so much we had to make a new pot every morning.
Wow, you're a nice host. :)
