Thank you, eBay.

I saw the pitcher (left) somewhere recently and fell in love with the leaf pattern ... do you mind sharing the info you have on the maker?

You're so funny! :)

Things from etsy do that to me all the time.

Love the way you worded this - just how I would put it when explaining my hoarding behaviour to my husband. And they are positively lovely things :)

You love queensday in Holland so much isn' t it?

Well, you should see how Basel is looking right now.Google EK Holland and see, the whole city is packed with dutch people wearing orange. You' ll love it!

No, they are just stopping by to see you, then they are coming to my house. ;)

Janet, they lied to you. You can't trust them. Sorry to burst your bubble, but they assured me just now they're staying here. But they also said they might have some friends out there somewhere who might come to stay at your house. You have to keep your eyes open for them. :)

My mom and I have been looking at your blog for over an hour straight! These are gorgeous and I'm so jealous that you can find such great stuff on ebay! All I find is junk "/ Haha.

Love your tutorials and everything else on your site! Keep it up :)

Woo,,,can see why you felt they needed to reside with you!

BTW...I posted an entry to your way back May 30. Hope that was OK (if not, please let me know).

Very nice! Those will go perfectly in your home -- based on the pics you've shown on your blog that is :)

Jon, your blue vase is GORGEOUS. That blue is so beautiful! I wonder if there are any other cousins out there in different colors? And hey, I saw your home tour on design sponge. That's you, right? Holy cow. So awesome. I want to live in your house.

Jess— Pretty sure this is West Germany pottery (guessing value at $50-75). An educated guess, but pretty sure. Nice catch.

Jessica Jones said...

Yeah, it is. The $15 and $9.99 I paid on eBay sound pretty good, in that case.

beautiful! do you have any tips you could share to help ebay neophytes find similar goodies?

Jessica Jones said...

Hmm, search for "studio pottery" or Bay W. Germany, maybe.
