Look what I just bought from Golden Fruitfly's etsy shop. I fell in love with the pattern. The underside says Spanish Crown Ironstone, made in Spain.

Yeah... " Made in Spain " like me ... hahaha...
You are an inexhaustible source(or fountain??? I don´t know how exactly translate it) of inspiration...
I have serious cup envy!!!!!
Just popping in to say I've tagged you on my blog if you wanna play :)
You lucky, lucky thing! These are beautiful!
What a coincidence! I live near the place where those cups were made. The factory (Pontesa) closed some years ago but the pottery is still very appreciated.
Have a nice weekend!
oh wow... those are lovely. my eyes seem to be drawn to lots of leafy things lately. as always, love your blog and your style.
Those look vaguely familiar, for some reason. Are they "vintage"?
Mum
Yep, vintage! Maybe you have some in your cupboard near your vintage rotary phone. :)
Love them! And love that you are including your etsy fave finds.
Hey, don't knock my rotary phones... they work! All 3 of them! :-) Just for the record, we do have 2 push-button cordless phones, too... and Pa has a cell phone. Really, I am a MODERN woman... I HAVE CROCS!!! :-)))
Modern Mum
Love these. I can see it in fabric! btw, my summer project is to recover a sofa in modern flora. I'm a bit nervous, but excited too!
Very gorgeous! Great buy.
They are gorgeous! Love the leaf design. Have been reading your blog for a couple of weeks now and trying to finish all your old postings too. Love you style! You got really good eyes for color and pattern in all sorts of things. You got me thinking about putting something orange in my house. Wait, I do have orange tracklights and some orange pots. I will show them on my blog later and let you know.
Oh, love your mom and grandma too! They are hilarious!
I love those dishes. The pattern is fantastic and the colors are really retro in a classy, uncheesy sort of way. Yes, in my world "uncheesy" is indeed a real world. That I use. Anyway, nice find!
oooh, love this!
Wonderful! Nothing like a new perfect teacup. Enjoy!
Those are gorgeous!
Wow, Jacquie, good luck with that!
Oh, I have the matching fruit bowls to go with those cups! I adore them and they are my favorite to use:) I got 6 of them in a thrift shop for 20 cents each!
Vanessa
Well, of course you love them. Look how well they go with your fabric designs!
Those are too pretty! I went to go buy the others she had in her Etsy shop, but they were already gone!
Those cups are SO pretty - and very much retro at the same time! They're very much like some cups that my parents had in the 70'es. Love the leaves!
Did I hear somebody criticizing so-called "vintage" possessions? By thunder, I'll not stand for this! Where's Western Union? I need to send a telegram immediately! Confound it, where's my cane and frock coat, and have my carriage readied; that rapscallion Jess needs a good talking-to!
wow!i i have the teapot to match! but the pattern on these is so much bigger and nicer-
NO WAY...I have been searching for this pattern, as I bought two of these same cups at a thrift store! I'm jealous. I want to get more, but I can't find ANYTHING on them. If anyone finds out, please let me know! littlesparrow@live.ca It's a shot in the dark I know, but worth it.
Wow! Great find :D
They seem right up your alley, too, Jenn!
Too funny. Vintage dinnerware bringing people together! I have the sugar/cream set that I found in my grandma's cupboard and I LOVE them - but that's all she had. I found this blog while I was trying to get more info on them - ie- trying to find where I can buy more of the set! If anyone knows more about the pattern etc pls post it!! Til then I guess I'll have to check out thrift shops!
