Irresistible

This was an impulse purchase a couple days ago from etsy seller Good Grace. I just couldn't stop myself. Visit her shop for retro dresses, bags, shoes, and vintage home items, all photographed nicely and shipped out speedily.

That's a gorgeous mug, whatever its period. :-)

The problem with vintage stuff is that it's not attractive at all when you were alive and 'conscious' the first time that stuff was fashionable. Then you say, 'Never again!' LOL!

Very cool. I like it a lot.

It looks like it was made for your office with those curtains in there. :-)

Wow! I'm still amazed & thrilled that you found the mug. (If you could have seen my face that morning as I was checking the computer and saw "howaboutorange" had purchased the sweet little mug. Seriously, it was a combination of being stunned & exuberant! I had to call my husband immediately, while simultaneously emailing my two cousins ... who are also addicted to your blog!!) So I tell you, I am humbled that you so kindly mentioned my little Etsy store on your blog... a thank you is not enough. But, THANK YOU! :-)

Bela, that's so true. I bet anyone who had these cups to back in the day thinks it's ridiculous I just snapped one up so enthusiastically.

Good Grace, you're certainly welcome. You did me the favor, though. I got a cute cup!

Jocelyn, thank you! Lindsey, I love 'em. Everybody else, hi and nice to hear from you.

Impulse purchases aren't ALL bad. I'm glad you went with your heart and gut. This is wonderful, and how often do you come across a mug which matches your curtains so well?! Not to mention your blog? Well done!

I must say you have great eye, and thats a great find! So, would we find coffee or tea in your new mug?

mmmmm, orange......

74% of the time, coffee. 13% of the time, hot chocolate. 11% of the time, tea. 2% of the time, apple cider.
