Spell with Flickr

A fun little online tool called Spell with Flickr lets you type in a word, then recreates the word for you using photographs of letters from Flickr. If you don't like the style of a letter chosen for you, click it to see another. Links to the full size images on Flickr are also available, so you could print them out and frame them for your wall. Remember, don't use other people's images commercially without permission, and check Flickr's terms of use! Found via Nested.

I saw this too the other day. I thought it would be a fun idea to give as a wedding present - the new couple's last name (provided she intends to change hers).

This is SO cool! I can't wait to use it on my blog! Oh, I also wanted to tell you I have a hexagon quilt tutorial if you want to use it- I have used so many of the tutorials you have posted, this is my way of giving back! Thanks, by the way! Love your blog!

You're welcome, Camille. And thanks. I've never made a quilt before. I don't think I'm patient enough. I want instant gratification. But maybe someday!

Great idea, Julie! And Amy, I'll check out those links!
