Online ASCII image generator

BB-Blog recently found this ASCII tree curtain, an interesting combination of beauty and geekiness. If you'd like to make your own ASCII image out of any photo (high-contrast images work best), go to Photo2Text and upload the image of your choice (must be less than 200k). In a second, you'll have your own picture made of numbers and letters. To fully appreciate it, back away from your computer and take a look.

Hey Jessica, you beat me to the punch. I was gonna post that this weekend. Isn't that site awesome? It really makes a difference if you don't use the exact version of courier they do. After I saved the file to my drive I experimented with typrfaces. The image changes completely if that varies any. Take care.

Whoa, great minds... I bookmarked the site a long time ago—not sure where I found it—and after seeing the cool tree curtain, I was reminded of it. Thanks for the type tip!
