Hey, this is good.
We just bought some of this grapefruit soda at Trader Joe's, and I love it. Real grapefruit taste, just a tiny bit sweet. So refreshing. I'm drinking it right now in front of my computer. I think I'm addicted.

We've been doing a lot of cocktail craft at home lately and are fixated on grapefruit as an ingredient.
Our current fave:
1/2 grapefruit, hand juiced
3.0 oz light rum
1.0 oz Pimm's #1
shaken with ice, poured into 2 ice-filled highball glasses, topped off with Izze grapefruit soda.

Oooh, I love Hansen's grapefruit soda, I'll have to keep an eye out for the TJ brand sodas...

good to know! i'm heading stateside this weekend and i'm sure we'll end up at a trader joe's. grapefruit is one of my favorites!
oh yeah, we just polished off our last bottle last night! We like to mix it with oj. And a splash of vodka if we're in that kind of mood. mmmmm. I wish I had some right now.

Fresh Market sells two different brands of grapefruit soda. One is GUS (grown up soda.) I forget the name of the other one, but they're both in the refrigerated and soda shelf sections. They're both a bit sweeter than the TJ's version.
Fresca is grapefruit soda...from the grocery. :)
I have a random martini that I made with this one night from random ingredients in my fridge/bar...my friends LOVE it!!
1 part Absolut APeach Vodka
2 parts grapefruit soda
splash of POM
stir and serve in a martini glass or over ice if you want...either way, it's awesome!!
p.s.
...don't shake in a shaker unless you want it to explode (duh)

i'm obsessed with trader joe's. i live walking distance within 2 of them. now whenever i go to a regular supermarket, i feel like i'm going to go into panic mode with all the overstimulation.
Oh, this looks good. I have a weakness for the Safeway brand of grapefruit soda. Maybe this one has better ingredients? More actual juice? Unfortunately the nearest Trader Joe's is a day's drive away. Next time I'm around one of their stores, though, I'll have to try that kind
have you ever had Fresca? it's a grapefruit soda and it is DELICIOUS! get the original - i'm not a huge fan of the new flavors. :)
Strangely enough, I'm not really a Fresca fan!
