Sebastiano Ercoli emailed me about a DIY project he designed with Alessandro Garlandini for Comieco, the Italian consortium for paper recycling. It's a cardboard iPad stand that's simple to make from any corrugated cardboard box. Watch the delightful video tutorial here and download a free PDF template. Make sure your volume is up; the sound effects will make you smile!
Wow! That's genius! :D xx

great!
ReplyDeleteThe video was fun. Courtney liked it, too. :) If I didn't already have an iPad stand, I'd sure make one of those!
ReplyDeleteThis is easy to make and clever. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMy 15 y.o. is out of school on Thursday. I foresee his first summer assignment.
ReplyDeleteThis is neat, thank you!
ReplyDeleteCool, may be i can do it
ReplyDeleteOkay, this is super cool. A great example of reduce, REUSE, recycle. My kids are a little too young to let loose with the X-acto knife, but we could do it together with me doing the cutting part. They'd get a kick out of seeing that old box in the basement transformed into a stand. Thanks! ~Heidi
ReplyDeleteThat video was completely enjoyable to watch. You were right, the sound effects were fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a project for Mommy and the oldest munchkins, for sure.
Wow this turned out great. So unique and clever!!
ReplyDeleteFun to make!! Has a tendency to tip over though if iPad is placed in portrait orientation rater than landscape.
