Make a DIY cardboard iPad stand from a box

Sebastiano Ercoli emailed me about a DIY project he designed with Alessandro Garlandini for Comieco, the Italian consortium for paper recycling. It's a cardboard iPad stand that's simple to make from any corrugated cardboard box. Watch the delightful video tutorial here and download a free PDF template. Make sure your volume is up; the sound effects will make you smile!

  2. The video was fun. Courtney liked it, too. :) If I didn't already have an iPad stand, I'd sure make one of those!

  5. Okay, this is super cool. A great example of reduce, REUSE, recycle. My kids are a little too young to let loose with the X-acto knife, but we could do it together with me doing the cutting part. They'd get a kick out of seeing that old box in the basement transformed into a stand. Thanks! ~Heidi
