This was an impulse purchase a couple days ago from etsy seller Good Grace. I just couldn't stop myself. Visit her shop for retro dresses, bags, shoes, and vintage home items, all photographed nicely and shipped out speedily.
The problem with vintage stuff is that it's not attractive at all when you were alive and 'conscious' the first time that stuff was fashionable. Then you say, 'Never again!' LOL!
Wow! I'm still amazed & thrilled that you found the mug. (If you could have seen my face that morning as I was checking the computer and saw "howaboutorange" had purchased the sweet little mug. Seriously, it was a combination of being stunned & exuberant! I had to call my husband immediately, while simultaneously emailing my two cousins ... who are also addicted to your blog!!) So I tell you, I am humbled that you so kindly mentioned my little Etsy store on your blog... a thank you is not enough. But, THANK YOU! :-)
Impulse purchases aren't ALL bad. I'm glad you went with your heart and gut. This is wonderful, and how often do you come across a mug which matches your curtains so well?! Not to mention your blog? Well done!
That's a gorgeous mug, whatever its period. :-)
