Quiz: What font are you?
Here you can take a quiz to find out what font you are. Since this is absolutely a burning question that's haunted me over the years, I had to know. The result: "Arial - You're pretty normal. I'm Arial too - this is an outrage! Though I'm slightly relieved, for some reason, that I'm sans serif.

ReplyDeleteThis is a question I've often pondered as well... but I have to think that this test is rigged. I am the 6th to comment and the 6th arial! I agree with Jessie, we could at least be Helvetica-normal!

I too am arial. However, I look at it like a clean classic. Like crisp navy blue.
ReplyDeleteit seems to me that whoever wrote this quiz does not know very much about fonts -- at least not nearly as much as you do. probably Arial is the most design-forward font the quizmaker knows.

ReplyDeleteArial here, too! The results page says that 50% of takers got this result. However, by playing with different answers, I got Wingdings and Fixedsys as results. This person knows nothing about fonts -- I am some handwriting-esque font, for sure!

I am devastated because I was comic sans :( I feel that I have failed as a designer.

ReplyDeleteUggg. I turned out Lucida!! I never in 8 years of designing have ever even been TEMPTED to use Lucida! It said because I was "arty". What. EVER. No arty person worth their salt would use LUCIDA. (no offense to those who like it, I just don't)

ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when a non-designer-art-person decides to formulate a quiz on which he/she is clueless- im Lucinda like someothers here- the description is ok, the font IS NOT. Lucinda for heavens sake! Its a font created to grace sorrily designed greeting cards with roses on them- oh god. im sure there r lots of ppl who like cards, roses and the font. but i dont. sorry. but i cant resist quizzes- i once took a quiz that said i was an exe file extension- i obsessively took it till i became a dll file. so.

ReplyDeleteOkay, this was such a non-inspired quiz created by a non-creative type person. You can tell by the fonts they chose. I am a Lucida Calligraphy....I am sorry, but Lucida is NOT artsy. It is a "safe" font used on uninsipred Sympathy cards from the dollar store. That is so not me! Phooey! : P

I got that result too.. and I'm pretty sure most of my friends would say it was incorrect! Just glad I'm not comic sans... the epitome of crap in the font world!
