I could figure out a few, because the ligature on the lowercase "a" is longer in helvetica than arial...but then i missed all the words without an "a" :P
ReplyDeleteI got an 8/10. I could tell the difference based on the kearning. The Arial has awkward spacing between letters. I was definitely thrown by the "APPLE." But wow, had a i read the article…there are really some clear differences.

ReplyDeleteI got 7/10 without quite knowing how. I think the Arial feels wider to me and the Helvetica is more elegant. Hmm. Better read that article now.

I failed this test- primarily because I never use helvetica. In web design you always define Arial with Helvetica as the back up.
