New Jessica Jones fabric: say hello to Arrow!

Today The Needle Shop has released a new print I designed for them: Arrow, available in three colorways. It's simple and graphic and geometric and cool. Let's make it the new chevron, y'all! Shop for it here.

This fabric is 7 oz. cotton home decor canvas, good for accessories and furnishings. Or you can get crazy like Rachel of The Needle Shop did and whip up a blazer. It would make a smashing shift dress, too. And that suitcase is killing me. I've begged Rachel for a tutorial, so stay tuned.

These prints will also be available in laminated canvas in two weeks. Think makeup bags, placemats, beach totes, wipeable chair seats and all sorts of goodies.

Mum made a quick reversible tote. Love it! It's Tanya Whelan's Flea Market Bag pattern, but with the strap lengthened and the body size adjusted a bit. A great bag for beginners if you want to give it a whirl.

Buy Arrow right here by the yard, or get it wholesale here if you're a fabric shop or manufacturer.

We're dreaming of printing other colorways, too. What combos would you like to see?

It would be so fun if it DID become the new chevron. Why not?!?! How about: raspberry, turquoise and chartruese or moss green, deep purple and ORANGE?

Thank you. :)

Laminated canvas, yes please! That would be perfect for a DIY diaper bag. Can your mom do a tutorial for that?

Uh... no, DesignGeek... Mum can't do that. I use other people's patterns/tutorials... I don't write them. Sorry. ;)

Green! I'm always looking for fabrics in greens that aren't kelly green. Chartreuse and forest!

Will this eventually be available in a quilting cotton? I would love to create a quilt or some pillows with this pattern - great job!

Caro, YES. We're talking about green next! Nicole, I don't think The Needle Shop plans to do quilting cotton in this, but if it sells like hotcakes, you never know. The scale would have to be reduced a bunch, I think.

VERY cute. I like the navy, but maybe with tangeriney orange. I think black would make it too prison-chic!

Not to be too obvious, but.... how about orange??? And yes, I do crack myself up! Totally serious about the orange, though. =)

Yay!! This is fantastic!

I'd love to see it in a turquoise or teal, or the navy and white inverted (white arrows on dark background).

So excited about the laminate too, I need to kid-proof my dining chairs. Would the new colours be released in laminate too? Happy days!

Happy birthday! Didn't realize you and Kate share birthdays! Whoo! Congratulations on another very chic fabric line, Jess!

Color combinations - I love orange and grey. And turquoise and grey. And white and grey. And yellow and grey. And grey on charcoal. Um, I think there's a pattern emerging here.

LiEr: fabulous suggestions. I will also consider slate with pewter. Or maybe ash with silver. So many possibilities. :)

So excited! I need to find myself an awesome make-up bag tutorial because as soon as the laminated orchid/white comes out, I will be whipping one of those up!!!

New colors: I'm always a fan of green and blues other than navy :)
