Sevillana is a typeface designed by Olga Umpeleva and inspired by the lettering on commemorative plates on the walls of homes in Andalusia, Spain. Download it for free from Brownfox, an independent type foundry in Moscow.
That's a lovely font - thanks for sharing. Not sure if it's possible to somehow use that font within my blog though.... hmm....Sarahhttp://acatlikecuriosity.blogspot.co.uk/
Thanks for the head's up! Love this font. Different and fun!
Love your blog i've just come across it and am now a follower :)My blog: www.emzishere.blogspot.com
Why does the download link say "Free download purchase viagra online in india"?? Actually, the entire page has the text replaced with drug names! Something seems... odd.
how unfortunate that it is only a windows font instead of open type. sigh.
I know! It will work on a Mac of course, but printer vendors might not dig it. Depends. I've sneaked .ttf fonts through before, though I try to avoid them in layouts if possible. Great for logos, though, or other things that use small amounts and you can outline it.
Thanks for this new font.i always find something interesting on your blog.My daughter does'nt live fare from you in Chicago,I believe you are in Evanston,me in Paris France.Y.S
Yes, I'm in Evanston! Someday I would LOVE to visit Paris.
Great font for our Sevillian Blog!! A mix of folklore between DIY stuff ;)Thanks so much!!
I just can say: Olé!www.aliensatemelastnight.com
I'm so happy that my city inspired such a pretty font :)Elena Sophie
So pretty! Did you see the Henny Penny font at brownfox as well? So cute for kids stuff!
Yes! Henny Penny says, "I'm turning five and you're invited to my birthday party."
Yay, I'm from Seville too, and it is the capital of Andalucía, 'Andalusia' it's wrong, it's the fonetical form to say it here in the south, although not the correct one ;)I owned a MAC so I can't used it. And I don't know if it has Ñ!Thanks for sharing!(Oh, and I don't speak English so... sorry for my possible mistakes! xD)
