Free font: Prima09

Prima09 is an edgy, handwritten font in block capitals from the Brazilian company We. See some usage examples and download the font here, free for personal and commercial use. One little drawback for Americans: Prima09 doesn't seem to have an apostrophe character, so you might need to reposition a comma if you plan to type any contractions.

Contractions are highly overrated.

That's a cool font. I'm one who'll never use a contraction if I don't have to. Unfortunately my iPad puts em i'n for me. LOL

(iPad wasn't too brilliant on that one, huh?) ;)

Looks like your iPad loves contractions and hates possessives!

Just Americans? ;)

Right, Jen, because writers of English in Canada, England, Australia, various Caribbean Islands, and dozens of other countries where it's the official language never use apostrophes. Ha!

I had to laugh at the American comment! Too bad English outside of America! :)

At least there would be a reminder to avoid contractions- although possessives could be irritating!

Random interesting fact: way back in Old English, possessives used to be indicated with an -es. But as the language as progressed we have dropped the 'e' and added the apostrophe to hold it's place. At least that was what my English history professor said. :)

also, when loaded on my PC and using it in publisher I got an apostrophe.... a little bit of weird kerning, but that was easy enough to adjust! :)

I feel like I just had an epiphany. I never once in my years of Spanish classes thought about other languages not using apostrophes! (Obviously I'm not exactly fluent in anything besides English; hopefully it would have become apparent to me if I were).
