Woodgrain desktop wallpaper

Just when you were thinking to yourself, "What the heck are high res woodgrain textures good for," here's the answer. Desktop wallpaper! (Which I consider to be the answer for everything, really.) Download this one here.

Ha! I admit, I hadn't a clue what I'd use them for, but it's good to know they exist (background for presentations, little strips or cut outs for interest in a graphic). Now you've gone and made something completely brilliant with them!

I just had another idea of "staining" them with a overlay tint of color! Oh the possibilities! I am using this wallpaper as I type.

Ooo, intriguing. You are wasting no time! And have I told you I love your fabrics? I love your fabrics.

I'm using it, too. And I was one of those wondering why a person would want these wood patterns. I feel so enlightened.

I really was wondering what on earth I could use those wood texture images for! Question answered.

I've just nominated you for an Arte y Pico award :)

Oh, I was going to just use a plain one for a wallpaper! This is much better. Very greatful as creating something like this for myself would be impossible.
Thank you. CM

I have actually been hunting high and low for a good wood image. I would love to use it as a background on my website-- will you let me?

Jessica Jones said...

Hi Rachel. You can use it for desktop wallpaper on your personal computer, but not for a website, I'm afraid. I might need to use it myself sometime. :)
