Greetings from Kuwait | How About Orange

July 14, 2008

Greetings from Kuwait

A reader from Kuwait wrote to show me photos from a dinner party that she and her sister organized. The girls invited friends to come, and they all made paper ornaments based on the tutorial I put here. Look at their work! Amazing! To see more photos, visit their blog here (it's in Arabic, but if you can't read it, you can still look at the pictures.) I was thrilled to hear from far-away How About Orange readers. Does anyone else outside the U.S. want to say hello? Leave a comment and mention what country you're from. It would be fun to share where we all are and exchange greetings. (Access to this site is blocked in China. Hello to you anyway, Han and Ming. Miss you!)

I'm just over here in Oregon but I am inspired with every blog post. (Okay, that is about 1800 miles away from IL.)

Tonight it was hot outside (95F) and we were bored so we went to Ikea to hang out. I still think their big orange sofa is my favorite. And now they have the klippan sofa in orange leather. Yummy.

P.S. : I didn't leave a comment when you talked about your feet. Since it's my first comment here, I wanted you to know that you are not alone, I have size 12 feet so I totally understand you!

Add another Canadian to the dogpile. I'm from Beautiful British Columbia...

Thanks for all the gorgeous inspiration!

(ps - my word verification thingy was kbwvaite, which I thought was quite funny since it almost looks like Kuwait. Weird. I mean, how often do you post about Kuwait?!)
