These tuts are so helpful. I always learn how "real" illustrator/photoshop people do things. Perhaps now I'll start doing graphic design. ;)

thank you! can you believe that i have a graphic design degree but am horrible with illustrator? we never learned it in college (i was there just as computers were taking over the industry)... and i don't use it much now, but it's great to have this tutorial handy!

Thanks so much -- I so appreciate the link. I just set up a blog this week using a standard template. This is just was I need to know so I can start personalizing it.

BTW, I love your blog and have it listed on my blogroll favorites. :)

I had to go look it up and see what you guys were talking about. That party was like a year ago. Funny.

And yes, Caroline, this one simple tutorial is all you need to launch a fruitful graphic design career. Go for it! Because it's not like you're doing anything else. :)

Debbiec, nope, the header is just a header. Nothing like that is in the works. Yet. Hmm....

Thanks so much for the find- I will have to check it out. Nothing says creative like a couple of swirls!
