Desktop wallpaper addiction

I can't help it. Changing the wallpaper on my computer is a compulsion. Get these and other "colourcode" wallpapers here at Olschinsky, which appears to be an Austrian design firm.

I so love wallpapers...I am always grabbing a cute icon or doodle from a blog or website that I happen upon. Kind of like a changable art gallery.

I always come here to grab nice tests and links, and i had nothing to share in return, but not this time :) . My boyfriend gave to me a long time ago the link to this sofware, "wallpaper" : it is meant to change periodically the wallpaper on your desktop with the paramaters you decide, so you don't have to do it yourself manually :) .
it's in french but easy to understand, if you need some translation, let me know :) .
(i hope you're not with a Macintosh, it probably won't work without OS X. )

Okay. Your post is a sign that I must stop lurking and start commenting. I discovered your blog last week and after one visit added it to my bloglines. I love it. Anyway, last night I was thinking about changing my wallpaper to one of your designs but couldn't bring myself to do it because it's a lovely picture of my daughter into which my hubby photoshopped a fairy flying beside her. Once I print it to hang on the wall I will definitely be using one of your designs. Thank you for all the inspiration - your blog oozes it!

I too like having different wallpapers. But changing them all the time is not very interesting thing to do. That's why I have downloaded a program that changes the wallpapers in a period of time that I can change.
Just go here:
http://www.vladstudio.com/home/
and you will find the free software. It is called WallMaster. You can find interesting wallpapers, too.

Speaking of wallpaper, can I steal the picture you took of the winter tree a few posts ago to use as my personal desktop wallpaper? Much more my style and the picture is so beautiful.

You bet! It's going to be too small, though, I'm afraid.

Thanks also for the info about software that will change your wallpaper automatically for you, Krysalia and Drenka. Actually this is a built-in feature in my Mac's systems preferences in the "Desktop and Screensaver" section, so I don't need to download anything else to do it. Thanks for the tips, though!
