Your profile comment about receiving your first box of Crayola 64s at graduation makes me giggle every time.

I didn't get mine until college during the usual "fun trip" to Walmart.

Do you think many creative people are in a similar situation? Maybe that's how we became so creative… the challenge of only having 24 crayons to work with (if not less).

Do you mind if I ask how long you've been doing design?

I just wanted to pop in, and let you know I really enjoy your blog.

Great little mini portfolio... do you know if you can attach it to an e-mail and send it? I should probably just go look myself (I had already grabbed the link from Heather's site, but hadn't followed it up) but thought I'd just ask...

Liz, I tried pasting the "embed" code into an email and sending it to myself, but it just came in as the html code. :) There might be a way to do it, but I don't know how. I know nothing about html. You can always email the direct link to your leaflet, so if people click on it, they end up viewing your leaflet at leafletter's site.

And Sarah, maybe you're right! My elementary school had a rule about the maximum size box of crayons you could have. I'd always dreamed of the BIG box, but it was against the rules. I don't know why. But maybe I'm a better person because of it!!! I have a BS in design communication and have been working as a designer for about 7 years.

First visit to your blog. I like it! Thanks for the fun display of your portfolio and your corkboard/office area. It was sort-of like an I Spy game. Finding Jesus was a bit of a challenge.

Yeah, I've always thought that can be hard sometimes. :)

Nice stuff... I really dig the "Run It" spread. Saw your "graphic designer" tag on JulieAnn (Buist) Thomas's LinkedIN profile, and just had to check ya out. Birds of a feather, I guess. :)

This project is beautiful all around. I like how you've managed to say so much with so little. Love the black and white approach to it all.
