Quiz: Famous or unknown artist?

View a painting and decide whether it was created by a famous artist or an unknown artist. I was a lucky guesser and only missed one, but learning who the "unknown" artists were was the best part. Take the quiz here.

That's a great quiz. I did very poorly but it was still fascinating.

I tell you what, ten years at art school has REALLY paid off for me!

I only got the first one wrong, but before I clicked on unknown artist I thought; 'it could be a cezanne' !!

I wasn't expecting the unknowns to be people famous for other things though.....

Good quiz - thanks for the link!

100%! And only one art history class under my belt.

Looks like Eisenhower took classes with Bob Ross... ;-)

There's an arts college in my city that takes this idea one step further - a mystery art auction! You have no idea who the artist is until you win the piece. It may be someone famous, or it may be a student. Either way, lots of fantastic art.

Oh yeah, that's a fun one. I posted about that awhile back. I love it.

Wow, I also only missed one...I had no idea I was so good. Hee hee. I also didn't expect the the unknowns were "known" but for other things entirely. For instance, I had no idea about Hitler.
