Mother's Day is coming up, so I made a little freebie you can download and print for your mum. It's a greeting card that fits in a standard A2 envelope. (4.25" x 5.5" after folding.) And it won't use up much of your ink cartridge. You could output this on linen-textured cardstock to make it really nice, and pair it with a red or green envelope. And a pie.
Download the card right here.
You know, of course, that YOUR mother would slice a little chunk off each of those four pieces to make sure she got her fair share, right? ;)

Yeah, probably from the tip of each one to get the best part, too. Ha! But she would spend hours making me a bag or skirt if I asked.
ReplyDeleteYeah... I love you... and pie. In that order.

I think it would be kind of funny if there was a humorous card insert that continues the front saying "...and then as every one takes their first bite begins to recount giving birth...thereby securing all the pie for herself. Cause Moms are wily."
ReplyDeleteSo true! All of it!
ReplyDeleteI do not know how you do it, but you seem to come up with just what I need! I hope my children will grow up to be as wonderfully creative as you are. Grandma G sure did a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteAww... thanks, Anonymous! Grandma G eats that up even more than she does pie! ;)

Hello and Thank you for this download...
ReplyDeletethis is so true & so nice. i printed it out, stamped the inside, added a few sequins. (not that it needed anything else) my mom will love this. thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHello :) when I try and open this in my printing program it asks for a password. Please help :)
ReplyDeleteYou can open and print this in Adobe Reader, the free software that opens PDFs.
ReplyDeleteThe password security prevents folks from opening the file in Illustrator or Photoshop and lifting out the artwork to use for purposes other than this card.
very nice collection of the listed cards. we surely can gift every close one these cards.
ReplyDeleteprinted stamped and in the mail! Thanks - love it!

ReplyDeleteI printed out the "More last-minute Mother's day cards" from your May 05, 2011 post. Yes, tomorrow is the last school day before the mother's day, and you saved me again. Thanks! My kids already made a small pot with hand-made flowers with messages, but I wanted to have some card as well. This week's mission is done.
