Make hexagon-shaped pillows

Have you seen Diane Gilleland's kaleidoscope pillow tutorial over at Spoonflower? Each pillow is sewn from two fat quarters of fabric. They're nifty.

  1. Those look like they'd be fun to make... and to look at, as well. :) Someday I must might.....

    P.S. You'd better call 'em fat quarters. There's a difference. ;)

  3. Maybe you must!

I got my wording from the original post where they mentioned quarter yards. But I'll change it.

  4. Oh... I got my wording from the materials list. I didn't read that introduction part. :)

  5. Well, fat quarter is more precise anyhow.

  6. Ha! And now I read the title of the post... "Fat Quarter February". I do a lot of things backwards. But so do you. ;)

    I'll shut up now.

  11. Thanks so much for featuring my pillows, Jessica!

Heh! I can't help chiming in on the whole "quarter yard" vs. "fat quarter" thing... the whole shebang was designed around fat quarters. I'm not sure why, but my editor changed the reference in the intro to "quarter yards." But I made 'em from fats. :-)

  12. These are super cute and look like something I could sew without pulling my hair out. My husband says we don't need more pillows on the couch, but I disagree...
