A cool way to sell things directly from your blog

Guys, this looks awesome. Have you ever wished you could sell the amazing t-shirt you designed, or the digital magazine you made, or the six tote bags you sewed in a frenzy one night? And you wished you could do it right from Facebook or your blog, so you don't have to set up an entire e-commerce store for a single product? Oh, and you also wished you could sell your thing in a way that looks professional instead of tacky?

I just learned about ShopLocket, a widget you can embed directly on your blog, website, or Facebook page to sell your product. It integrates seamlessly with Paypal, only takes a couple minutes to set up, and doesn't require any coding knowledge. You can choose a design, enter your product info (including variants like size and color, or an expiration time), embed your product on your website like you would a YouTube video, and watch the orders come in. So useful! Learn more at ShopLocket.com.

UPDATE: ShopLocket is no longer in business; see comments for other ideas.

  1. ohhh thanks for this - might give this a go! I'm only making a few bits at the moment and don't think I can warrant an Etsy shop just yet so this could be the perfect first step! x

  12. This looks really interesting but I'm only just starting to set up my blog and don't have any traffic yet. I'm going to start with Etsy and if I'm fortunate enough in the future to have people reading my blog - then ShopLocket will be very convenient. Thanks for the link x

  15. Thanks for sharing this - I have a big cartel small shop, the free basic version, I don't make or sell enough to warrant the full on paid version - this could be the answer. You always find the best stuff!

Twalop.com lets you do a lot more than just embed the item on your blog. it lets you track everything.

Best of all its free. no transaction fees, no set up costs or monthly fees.

  35. Hey! Try Ecwid. It's the best. It has "Single Product Widget" feature, basically same thing that described above. So you can sell one (or more) products right from your blog.
