Fabric sighting at Decaf Plush

Whew. The last couple days have been a whirlwind of client revisions and crazy deadlines. My poor blog collects dust when graphic design jobs take precedent. But I did want to pop in to share something that made me happy recently. Decaf Plush, a company that makes appliqued cushions and children's clothing, is using Outside Oslo in their fall line! It's fun to see home dec fabric used for dresses. Maybe I need to make myself a skirt— minus the applique. (Or better yet, cajole Mum into making it for me...)

  1. Those dresses are so super-adorable!!

Sure I'll make you a skirt... on one condition... you must come here for a fitting! Not unreasonable, right? You DO want it to fit correctly! :)

  7. One of my favorite pieces on my summer closet, is a long, full, skirt -- big read and white flowers -- that looks like it's made form a 1950's tablecloth. Friend and I concluded it's upholstery fabric. Must be extra fun to conclude it's your own upholstery fabric.

Made a mother's day card printable today, thought you might like. Bit last minute, easy to make as folds in quarters on 8.5x11 paper. Nice accompanied by flowers or with gift card tucked inside.

  11. I vote for having your mom make the skirt but I think you should definitely keep the applique. Nothing wrong with a little extra adorableness! (That's a word, right?) ;-)
