Sullivan, a new typeface

Jason Mark Jones has designed a cool new typeface called Sullivan, available right here at the Lost Type Co-op. It comes in three variations: Regular, Bevel, and Fill. Layer them to create vintage-looking lettering. I dig it.

  3. Thanks so much for all your wonderful and creative updates, even those that don't suit me, are always fun. :) I had so much fun on Saturday with your post, I found myself writing and following a series of links that fed my love of type, fonts and lettering. I have given you a credit... thank-you! *Smile* Type & Toast http://www.womanofworth.co.za/blog/?p=10442

  4. I like the font and downloaded it, but none of the three versions look like the one you have shown...I thought it would cool to use the font in big type for embroidery, but I don't seem to be able to get the version with the hash marks...

  5. The version with the hash marks is called Sullivan Regular. In the image above, it's layered (in black) on top of Sullivan Fill. Make sure to choose a very large font size so the hash marks will be visible. Hope that helps!

  6. Interesting. I did understand what you said, and when I went in to do that, I realized I had to reinstall the font (deleted it in a fit of pique), and it came out perfectly just as is. Don't know what happened, but I like it! Thanks!
