New font: Ribbon

The Lost Type Co-op is now offering Ribbon, a geometric display typeface that resembles... ribbon. As with all fonts at Lost Type, you can name your price and download instantly (enter zero for a freebie). If you chip in $30, you'll get a lovely specimen book with contributions from a dozen designers mailed to you. I'm doing it.

    Since the topic is fonts...couldnt resist asking!

    Do you know what font is used in the 'Truvia' sweetener's logo?

    I tried using 'What the font'...they were not able to tell.

    ...And I would agree with Grandma G :)

    SJ, my guess is that the Truvia logo is a custom typeface created just for this logo. This article from Pentagram, the product's design firm, discusses the project but doesn't get into specifics about where the type came from. I think we're out of luck!
