Quiz: What's your fashion style?

A little frivolous Friday fun. Take a quiz at Mystyle.com to determine your personal style. I turned out to be Classic. Apparently my dream is "to find a barely used Chanel jacket at Goodwill," but I'm afraid I wouldn't know a Chanel jacket if it reached out and poked me in the arm. One of my latest fashion purchases was a t-shirt with a waffle printed on it. Classic.

  2. I was casual, and oh they were so VERY right. I don't do make up much except for eyeliner and maybe a little eye shadow. Clothes, well, I love comfortable, I am a mommy. I do like to dress up occasionally, but WHY? I am at home, and have no clue HOW.

  3. Hmmm not finding the quiz from the link.

  4. Hmm - I'm a classic, too. (She says while still in her "classic" jammie pants and boyfriend sweater) LOL!

  5. I got classic, though I think in reality its more of a combo...and I thought that all of the Madonna pictures were questionable. Where was "none of the above"? :)

  6. Mrs.lmnop: Belgian. :)
Cath, not sure what to tell you. After you click, do you see a big pink circle that says "Take the Quiz"?

  7. Couture! Bahahaha. It is soooo off! I love jeans and t-shirts and I really couldn't care about fashion week... maybe I just have expensive taste when I don't have to pay ;)

  8. Yep. I'm "Classic", too. Wearing jeans and a lime green split-neck t-shirt, on my way out the door to paint the garage. Feeling classic, alright.

  9. Me, too. I don't mind, but I was a little insulted by the "midheeled black pump" portion of the description.

  10. I also came up with Classic. I am in an oversized sweater, old, too long jeans with the cuffs rolled up and scuffed up barn boots. Oh, I am wearing this at work also in a corporate office. I wish some of the options had been none of the above because some just didn't apply to me.

  11. Apparently I am "casual" and my fashion fantasy is to be able to knit my very own sweater! Hmmm, might be a bit late there (I can already do this!) but it made me smile.

  12. haha. mine is casual and muted colors apparently. which I am not against, but I am notorious for mixing patterns and wearing crazy shenanigans that no one else would. And my fantasy? To knit my own sweater...little do they know but I ALREADY DID! haha.:)

  13. The quiz pegged me as casual (no surprise), and as for knitting my own sweater...does it count if I'm doing one for my daughter? Thanks for the fun link!

  14. LOL! I'm a 'classic' too! I have a 'Mary's my homegirl' shirt, uhoh... My latest purchase? A wedding dress... off of Etsy!

  15. I love it...
and my result: couture... It's ok when said: I like to invest in few key pieces each season...

  16. Turns out I am classic too. Not that my current wardrobe is evidence of that. But like you, I can't tell my chanel from ferragamo (that's a dark chocolate, right? ;). It IS true, however, that my favorite pieces are those handed down from grandma! Grandma was chic. Thanks for this latest time-waster: it was a lot of fun!

  17. "Classic" ?!? ROFLMAO... Only if you count schlumpy-boho-hippy-chic as "classic". They must have averaged my all-over-the-map, everything-but-classic, answers into a middle ground.

    Currently barefoot and wearing a self-sewn bright-print rayon maxi-dress.

  18. "Casual" here... aren't you surprised? "I own a few pieces I have had forever." Shhh... don't tell 'em how true that is!!

They didn't have the right stuff for my lingerie drawer! ;(

    LOL

  20. Casual "I am never upstaged by my clothing" lol

  21. I'm classic - after all, "good taste never goes out of style" :)

  22. Thanks for the laugh about the waffle tshirt. I turned out to be cutting edge as I sit here in my running shorts and t shirt. Maybe in my next life! :)

  23. I scored the same thing. I think "Classic" really means "you have a decent handle on fundamentally sound style principles, and you're not a slave to fashion." At least that's how I read it. I also wouldn't know a Chanel jacket if it bit me. Also, I love your blog :)

  24. I think I am the antithesis of "COUTURE" ... but that's kind of romantic to hear! :)

  25. At first I chose what I really liked and was a "classic". I went back a 2nd time and there were different choices and I picked the most outrageous ones including the pierced tongue and then got an "Au Courant" label.

  26. I got classic, too. They at least got the part about pieces handed down from Grandma. Some of my best pieces are from my family. A striped coat and a red lace shift both from my grandma come to mind. Both never fail to get me compliments.

  27. I about died laughing because I got "Classic".... and I didn't recognize 90% of the things that they were showing! Um what happened to regular jeans, skirts, and t-shirts which is what I wear about 90% of the time... oh and no birkenstocks? Hmm somehow I see something amiss here... but it was worth the laugh!

  28. I got Couture. It says I enjoy reading about Fashion Week so I can get the jump on new trends. It's a little bit off as, alas, I don't know what Fashion Week is. Made me smile!

  29. LOL. I got "cutting edge", which is hilarious since I dress so plainly that most people think I'm Amish. Thanks for a good laugh!

  30. I am extremely casual, and that is was the quiz results. Accurate for me at least.
