The best thing since sliced bread

Impulse purchase alert! I have a bit of a coaster fetish—not because I care about my furniture, but because I adore functional items that somebody bothered to design well. So of course I couldn't resist these funny cork coasters shaped like toast. They even came in a plastic bag secured with a twist tie, just like a real loaf of bread. Available here at the MoMA store.

But I could see my nearly 2 year old eating them since he already eats the normal coasters...

  28. Hah! These are awesome. But when I'm groggy in the morning, I might get them confused with whole wheat bread... April first is coming around the corner...

  30. I still think you should somehow sell that mug!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well, I could sell them through Zazzle since the designs are already uploaded. But the minimum price Zazzle will permit on a mug is $13.95. I think at that price I get $1.30 of it and Zazzle gets the rest. And shipping on a mug is $6.95. Would anyone ever pay $20.90 for a mug? I wouldn't. :)
