Impulse purchase alert! I have a bit of a coaster fetish—not because I care about my furniture, but because I adore functional items that somebody bothered to design well. So of course I couldn't resist these funny cork coasters shaped like toast. They even came in a plastic bag secured with a twist tie, just like a real loaf of bread. Available
here at the MoMA store.
Funny! Don't let Alex eat 'em! ;)
ReplyDeleteNice mug, too. Seems I saw one just like it earlier today. ;)
Toast & tea - the perfect combination!
ReplyDeleteThose are too cute!

ReplyDeletei was just thinking earlier today that coasters seem like such FUN collectibles, and this confirms it!
ReplyDeleteany chance we can purchase some super groovy mugs like the one in the pic?

So they are coasters in the shape of toast, does that make them......toasters?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I love the links you share.
ReplyDeleteI can´t believe it! I bought some cork yesterday and spent the evening cutting toasts. And I thought I was being smart... meh
ReplyDeleteThat WAS being smart! Museum of Modern Art-worthy! You should feel complimented!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE these! One look at them and my husband said to go order them.... so by the end of next week I will have a new set of coasters!! Plus a 2nd set to give to a very dear friend!! Thank you so very much! (and they were such a good price!! it made it under my extremely limited budgets guidelines even!!!)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that CUP!!! :)
Those ARE cute, and so is the mug!
ReplyDeletecute!
ReplyDeleteThose are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI am in love. Those are adorable.
ReplyDeleteBut I could see my nearly 2 year old eating them since he already eats the normal coasters...
Blessings and prayers,
ReplyDeleteandrea
sooo cool!
ReplyDeleteClever, clever, clever. I love these :)
ReplyDeleteAND they're gluten-free! These are amazing!
ReplyDeletehaha so epic!
ReplyDeletelove them! how cute are those coasters! (mauh) Liz
ReplyDeleteSooooo cute!! I MUST have some for the office!!
ReplyDeleteHah! These are awesome. But when I'm groggy in the morning, I might get them confused with whole wheat bread... April first is coming around the corner...
ReplyDeleteThey are just too cute!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI still think you should somehow sell that mug!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I could sell them through Zazzle since the designs are already uploaded. But the minimum price Zazzle will permit on a mug is $13.95. I think at that price I get $1.30 of it and Zazzle gets the rest. And shipping on a mug is $6.95. Would anyone ever pay $20.90 for a mug? I wouldn't. :)
ReplyDeleteClever, fun and functional -- the perfect combo!
ReplyDeleteThese are so funny!!! I just love them!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! I just shared your post tonight on my Friday Favorites post and they are already the favorite item I've posted. : ) Thanks for sharing the creativity!
ReplyDeletehow thick are they? the product page doesn't say.
ReplyDeleteThey are 3/8" thick.
ReplyDeleteYou should call them toasty coasties! HA!
