We added a little more orange around the place recently. Awhile back I'd ordered some of these
super inexpensive frames that come in a million sizes. I love changing things up, so we plan to switch out the prints now and then. The little cactus is from Home Depot, and our magazines and owner's manuals are now tucked away in orange
files from IKEA.
Blessings,
ReplyDeleteandrea
Ooh - the cactus goes so perfectly with your spiky Polish ornament! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the orange pot for your plant. It makes it look so festive! I also really like your wall art, and your idea to change out the prints. I've been contemplating doing something like that too. I figure it would be an inexpensive way to mix up our decor!
ReplyDeleteI love orange to, even on christmas. Your blog is inspiring :-)
ReplyDelete"Agent Orange" has been at it again!

ReplyDeleteHi Jessica!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing how to make gift bows from magazine.
I followed the tutorial and I enjoyed and relaxed during
the realization of the bows!
Your blog is so rich of beatiful ideas ^_^
Thank you so much!
Bye bye!

P.S. You can see my bows on my blog ;)
Great use of color - those orange Ikea magazine holders are such a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Just a little bit of orange will do a lot of good, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe MCM cats make their official blog appearance! I love how you styled the artwork. I decided to keep my cat print (thanks for the advice), just put my cats in a yellow backdrop instead of orange. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the kitty had to be cropped just a hair, but I wedged him in there. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have some of those magazines files, and the CD/DVD boxes, too. Such a happy color to decorate with...
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to get to Ikea lately... yet another reason to go! :)
ReplyDeleteI know it's probably not that new, but I LOVE the new blog theme!
ReplyDeleteLove orange! I am digging those cheap frames, I just wish the shipping weren't so darn expensive.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of colour in the black frames, so often the look has been for black and white photos in them, but touches of orange just bring them up a level I think.
ReplyDeleteJessica, I've long been a follower of your lush site but today I gave myself the afternoon to sit back and read your older posts. It's been simply wonderful, my head is spinning with new ideas and creativity. Thank you. x
ReplyDeleteI love to have orange in my home and that cactus in orange pot is an excellent idea.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this! Orange is my happy color! I adore this so much!
ReplyDeleteI think I need that cactus. It's adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow they really do come in a million different sizes. Score! Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful room to dream in!
ReplyDeleteYes! This looks great! Giving me some ideas to add even more orange to my home!
ReplyDeleteAh im obsessed with these orange items! Orange always intrigues me but im not sure how to infuse it around the house. Great ideas!
ReplyDeletePs. Did that plant come in that orange pot, or did you replant it?
It comes that way.
ReplyDeleteThe orange is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi Jess - I'm a brand new follower of your blog and so far am absolutely loving the visuals & the inspiration. Quick question - I really liked the artwork that you put in all these frames. Can you share where the art is from or maybe there a source list for the art that you posted earlier & I missed it? Either way, it'd be great if you could point me in the right direction - thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo problem!

The tiny ones are postcards I got ages ago.
I have that same plant, though I got mine at a local garage sale, and it's in a yellow pot. It's called Haworthia attenuata, and as it grows, it makes babies. : )
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend an orange KitchenAid tea kettle. If I had a fire here at Mod Podge Command Central, it would be me, the dogs, and that tea kettle. Love the orange sprucing!
