Google Me business card freebie

Does your name appear at the top of Google search results? Need a quick business card? Get this template from Ji Lee and add your own words to the search box. (The download is on page two.)

    What a sweet idea! This would be great to promote my blog, which nicely enough does pop up right up top when you google the name. Thanks for the share!

    It's a cute idea. It's the old Google logo used, though. Of course, it is no work at all to make a screen capture of the newer Google page.

    ChezChani, yes, it would have been lovely if the designer had made this an editable form by placing a text field in the search box area. Then folks could edit the card in Acrobat Reader. So, you'd have to edit the card yourself in one of these ways:

    In Acrobat Professional, open the PDF and go to Forms > Form Tools > Text field to add a field where you can type your name.

    In Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign, place the card on a new document and type your name with the text tool. (They'll fit 8 up on a sheet, I believe.)

    Open the PDF in Photoshop and type in your name with the text tool.

    Maybe there are other ways, but I can't think of any that don't involve design software!

    I was going to say "cool idea" but it looks like many others have already said that. If we did a card with Bing instead, would that be better considering everyone else's card will be a google card?
