  1. What a sweet idea! This would be great to promote my blog, which nicely enough does pop up right up top when you google the name. Thanks for the share!

  4. It's a cute idea. It's the old Google logo used, though. Of course, it is no work at all to make a screen capture of the newer Google page.

  8. Very cute, but how do you add your name?

  9. ChezChani, yes, it would have been lovely if the designer had made this an editable form by placing a text field in the search box area. Then folks could edit the card in Acrobat Reader. So, you'd have to edit the card yourself in one of these ways:

In Acrobat Professional, open the PDF and go to Forms > Form Tools > Text field to add a field where you can type your name.

In Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign, place the card on a new document and type your name with the text tool. (They'll fit 8 up on a sheet, I believe.)

Open the PDF in Photoshop and type in your name with the text tool.

Maybe there are other ways, but I can't think of any that don't involve design software!

  10. Yikes, silly me thought it would be easy. I have none of those programs. Oh well, I don't really need new business cards, thanks Jess!!

  12. I was going to say "cool idea" but it looks like many others have already said that. If we did a card with Bing instead, would that be better considering everyone else's card will be a google card?
