Simple computer desktops

I'll tell you a secret. I post tons of links to desktop wallpaper on here because I love illustrations and artwork. But I hardly use any of them since I just can't work with a crazy, distracting background. Only minimal ones make the cut, so imagine my delight when I found Simple Desktops, a collection of... simple desktops. (Via Coudal, I believe.) Love that phone booth!

    that's so true! i love beautiful photo's but only the plain one make it to my desktop.

    your magazine paper bows inspired me a lot. I;ve been playing around a bit and made magazine paper rose balls. pic and tutorial is on my blog.

    I love these! I have the same problem with loving the artwork in a lot of desktops but not being able to work with so much going on in the background, so these are perfect. Thanks for sharing the link!

    I must work on a monitor (well, actually it's my laptop) that is much smaller scale that y'all cuz I can't see my desktop after I've opened up the days work and explorer so I can read my fave blog.... lol
    ...scatter joy...

    that said, I go for everything and anything, busy, simple, gorgeous, ugly... ; )
