The talented Alma Loveland has created some Valentine's Day freebies, including these sweet tiled patterns you can use as Twitter backgrounds.
Now, I hear there are people out there who loathe Valentine's Day and the merest glimpse of a heart will make them nauseated. If that's you, I apologize for the ongoing seasonal posts, but dang it, Valentine stuff is so pretty. Perhaps you might help yourself to Alma's speech bubble pattern instead, and hunker down until Feb. 14 has passed.
WHO loathes Valentine's Day???!!!
ReplyDeleteSome people.
ReplyDeleteyep i used to be one of those people. but i'm over it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't loathe it, that's for sure. But my husband and I are both ambivalent towards it. We don't do gifts or anything... In fact, I think my husband is looking forward to spending the day with our daughter more than me! :O
ReplyDeleteEverything you've posted so far, though, has been really cute and not nauseating :)
Really cute! I grab a couple for my twitter pages. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am adding one, stat!! The gnomes are starting to give me a headache.
ReplyDeletesuch pretty choices!!
ReplyDeleteI'm single and I love valentine's Day. True, its probably due to the fact that I am head over heels in love with the cute pink and red hearts. . . but I also love being able to celebrate with people like my parents.
ReplyDeleteOh. How sad. ;-(
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. I should send 'em each a valentine to make 'em feel better.
I loved Valentine's Day even when I was single. It never really got me down. I'd just wear the colors, eat the candy, and get together with girlfriends.
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm married, we don't go out because all the restaurants are way too busy and even with a reservation you have to wait to get in. And I don't like my husband to buy me flowers because they're overpriced and I'd prefer him to give me surprise flowers throughout the year. So we stay in for a nice home-cooked meal, enjoy an evening together, and give each other homemade gifts. It's great!!
That's so funny that you called out people that hate Valentine's Day :) I just wrote an "Ode to Valentine's Day" about this same thing!
ReplyDeleteCute backgrounds! It's so sweet when people do these things for free :)
