How to make flowery things

As Valentine's Day approaches—or as you grow increasingly tired of gray skies and snowbanks—pretty, flowery projects sound like a good idea. Here are some tutorials from around the internet:

    "Gray skies and snowbanks"... and BLIZZARDS! Another one today. *sigh*

    Flowers... YES! I need flowers!!! REAL ones, growing outside... and green grass (even if I do have to mow it). Even a touch of sunshine would help. *sigh*
