Help yourself to this lovely orange
printable notecard, compliments of Pauline Grayson. Pauline is a 6'1" graphic designer who grew up on a dairy farm. I'm a 5'11" graphic designer who grew up on a dairy farm. I think this means we are twins separated at birth. Except I drank more coffee, which stunted my growth.
It must've been HER mother that had you then, 'cuz I sure didn't have twins!
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess you would remember something like that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, andrea
Just found your blog, and it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHello Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I've been following your blog for a while (on google reader) and I absolutely love it! I make use of so many of the links to the downloads and only came to realise it today. I was showing my 9 year old daughter something on the blog and she recognised so many of the things, the bookmarks, the wallpapers, etc.!!! Thanks a lot for all of it. Your graphic design projects are great too!
Wow, thanks so much for the feedback! And thanks for following!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting my work. That's funny that we both grew up on a dairy farm. Mine was in Idaho, where was yours?
ReplyDeleteAnd for the record, I don't drink coffee.
Well, that explains the height difference. My farm is in Minnesota. Practically next door to Idaho. Okay, not really.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that you both went into graphic design and not something related to agriculture, animal husbandry or cheese.
ReplyDeleteOr ice cream. :-)
Not that I think either of you wouldn't have done well, I'm just really glad that you didn't!
Oh, this is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great download! Thank you for sharing! My mom used to say that soda would stunt out growth. I don't think we got to drink it until we were in high school. :-P
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Thanks so much to both of you, I'll be linking.
ReplyDeleteThe notecard is very cool. Thanks to both of you for designing and sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis blog never fails to make me happy. A pretty piece of art, a gorgeous color, or a little bit of inspiration, make the day more pleasurable - am I right ladies?
ReplyDeleteWhat about me?? I didn't grow up on a dairy farm, but my parents were farmers in the 70s. Does that count? I'm feeling so left out.
ReplyDeletePS - Love the notecard
PPS - Love that someone used the word "husbandry" in their comment
Just stumbled on you this morning. What a nice way to enjoy a cup of coffee. Thank you for the notecard, a chance to win the necklace, and the great inspiration for my day!
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I'm not sure if I've ever commented before but I do love your site.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Perfect for Fall.
ReplyDeleteSigned,
a 5' 2" city girl : )
Wait a minute! I'M a 5'11" graphic designer... and I grew up NEAR a dairy farm... oops, it's in Maryland. Dang! So close!
ReplyDeleteAs my mom always said, it must have been the milk and manure that me so tall? What about you Jess?
ReplyDeleteWell, I didn't eat much manure, so that can't be it.
ReplyDeleteI drank the milk and stood in the manure. I swear I never ate manure, unless you count the time I slipped and fell in the pig pen...
ReplyDeleteI think you must have standing in the manure much. Great blog and I love your work, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI love your humor, Jess.
