I was delighted to see this
felt pillow tutorial on Etsy's blog. Orange plus felt rosettes? What's not to love? And very trendy, since fabric flowers and ruffles seem to be springing up everywhere these days. The tutorial is from Anne Kyrrö Quinn's new book,
Felt Furnishings.
If you slept on a pillow like that, just think what your face would look like when you woke up! ;-D
ReplyDeleteOh my heck that is so darn cute!

I just posted some ruffle pillows on my blog, from etsy seller Hettle. I love them and my Mom says they would be super easy to make, so we're going to conquer that when I'm home next week. They aren't quite like this, so I will have to give this one a go as well!
ReplyDeletethat is ADORABLE! will have to make one.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance, check out the book. It's simply gorgeous and this is just one of many really great projects.
ReplyDelete(Nope, not affiliated at all--just a fan!)

ReplyDeletelove this.. and will try it but on a side of thick headband. my daughter is no longer letting me fix her hair (grrr) so this might be a neat way to make sure she still looks put-together!! :)

ReplyDeletereally adorable!!! thanks to share, I will have to learn to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's almost time to swap out my summer pillows (not quite willing to let go of summer yet) and I think this felt pillow would make a GREAT addition to my winter collection! It's hard finding time for crafts lately... maybe I could do this while I'm traveling at the end of the month. Do you think they allow needles past airport security :)
ReplyDeleteohh thanks for sharing- love that idea!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Deidra's blog - yours is lovely. Inspires me to do something creative with my home. Also makes me wish I had the talent to do so!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! I want to steal it right off the screen and plop it on my bed. Or make it. You know, whichever.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't know...that looks like a lot of work. I suppose I could handle all that hand sewing plopped on the couch in front of a good movie. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS! I cannot wait to make it! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me happy :) love them!
ReplyDeletelooks easy enough....will try it soon...thanx!

ReplyDeleteYour mum, Grandma G, is so practical! Having said that, I can visualise a couple of these on the sofa in my studio. Plus, the author went to London Met which is really near where I live! Off to buy book right now… thanks and have a good weekend! (It's Friday now in UK.)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I want to make a cute one for my daughter's room.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of this...i'd love the felt pillow for a coach...but now i'm contemplating what softer fabrics this could work with for a bed...hmmm...possible weekend project here!!
